By signing this petition, I meet the following conditions and agree with the following statements:

1. I am a paying member of Runescape OR I was once a paying member, having since retired, and would likely re-engage with the game if this petition is successful OR I am a free player who would likely purchase membership if this petition is successful.

2. I believe that the wilderness, PVP-clans and player-killing in Runescape are in a dire condition due to years of neglect from Jagex, and that the situation is deteriorating rapidly.

3. The decline in the activity of the wilderness has significantly affected my enjoyment of the game.

4. I have seen the Runescape video "The Wilderness: An Unauthorized Biography" (LINK HERE) and agree with all of its main points.

5. I am in full support of the proposal for revitalisation set out in the Appendix to "The Wilderness: An Unauthorized Biography" (LINK HERE) and I am urging Jagex to implement the proposed changes as one of their top priorities.

6. I believe that the suggestions outlined in the appendix must be realised as soon as possible, because there is a limited time frame before wilderness activity falls below a point of no return, and this point is fast approaching.

7. My enjoyment of the game and time spent playing Runescape will significantly increase if the suggested changes are implemented.

Please post this on your clan's forums and tell all the biggest video-makers and influential players OR
Please ignore it if you disagree with what I have been posting for the last 6 months.

Yes, I'm sorry about spamming the place up, but I won't give up despite the discouragement.
I respectfully disagree with you about the future of the clan world, and it seems that nobody else wants to take action.
If you don't like me,perhaps I have deserved that, but please refrain from flaming me. I will not flame you.

Not sure why people wouldn't sign up to this. No harm in one last effort to try and revive it so i hope people do sign up to this even if they haven't read any of the posts. It's for the good of the clan world at the end of the day. I've just signed myself onto it.

This petition is incredibly pointless and why are you raising support on a botting forum, pking is NOT bottable! (Yes I realise that a lot of people pk in there legit game time but still… ;o )
In all honesty these don't work, at all. The largest protest in the history of runescape on the day rs died (10th december 2007) was unsuccessful. It took years of declining numbers (which eventually actually started rising again) and thousands of posts to even put it to a public vote.
This petition will accomplish nothing.

First of all this is a botting forum. Why would jagex do ANYTHING we want them to?? Why would they want to make us happier? Stupid petition. This won't help anything! None of these petitions/riots ever help they are just annoying.

I completely disagree with you on this… Although this petition may not swiftly accomplish its goals, it is still SOMETHING. Something is always better than nothing.

It seems that the people saying that this is stupid were never big into player killing or the wilderness. However, this is what attracted me to botting to begin with. It is the reason I am still here. I don't bot for real money or for 99's for the sake of having 99's. I bot because I would spend hours pking, and would always have a need for more resources, armor, combat levels, ect ect to fuel my bloodlust in the wilderness. If you go into the wild now, you will only find players in the high risk worlds, concentrated around edgeville single-way. Thats it. Theres nothing going on multi-way varrock like it was in the old days, or any of the other popular locations.

The video in the link, although a bit cheese-fest, makes very valid points about the lack of activity in the wilderness, and it offers pretty reasonable ways to revitalize it.

And as lazhenieks said, there really is nothing to lose by signing this.

The video is impossible to take seriously.
I miss the wilderness's popularity true, however this isn't imo the route to take…
a cheesy video with a "LOTR" voice and music. :P

At least resize the banner, people don't like having to horizontally scroll. And I think bonesaw did something like this, but nothing really happened.

There are fewer people in the wilderness due to piers, rushers and just trolls in the wilderness. He wants jagex to do something I guess.
