Has anybody else realized how many accounts got made yesterday? It was still at 198 million… over 100 THOUSAND accounts got made.
I tried to estimate when the 200m would hit, and this screwed me up. They must have a pinpointed day for which they want this 200m counter to end.
It runs 24/7 and even continued to count during the update when RS was down.. also, it can go up by as many as 24 accounts at once. So this counter will probably end in about 5 days? so Saturday… nothing special.
Thoughts on this counter?

I believe all simba users should be safe. And even a lot of injection/reflection bot users will be safe.
Yeh, it's pretty obvious they have a date in mind for which the counter is to hit 200m

Edit: by the way, I just saw this: " 168,129 people currently online "… Isn't that higher than usual? I mostly see about 120k. What's the highest you've seen?

The Account creation server is Separate to any of the Game Servers.
Wow is different, they store info in separate world servers so that's why the player counter continued to rise.

Yeah, you can still make accounts while the game servers are down, you just have to wait until they are up again to actually play on them ;)

Meh. People are creating accounts for SoF, that's why JaGeX introduced it… To show off how many players they have.. But how many are actually active? Like 2 million? :D

I wish we had some info on active players and the ammount of members rs has…I read somewhere it dropped from 750k members to 250k durring last bot nuke.

you can make accounts on miniclip also i believe, so doesnt matter if rs is down.

I made one when there when I was 13. It didn't work in the real game- so i'm pretty sure its a pond of phish
