Java 7 and up seems to be a bit dodgy for a lot of people. Downgrade to v6 u31-34. That should resolve your problem :)

Yes, but it's a little complicated and is different depending on your smart version. If it's pre 7.1 then you have to call the method like SmartSetJVMPath(pathtojvm.dll) before the smart setup routine. If it's after 7.1 you pass it (the path) as the required startup argument. SRL might want to implement this option with some defines, idk.

Happening to me too. usually works fine

Edit: looks like the java v7 u5 was why it wasn't working. here's a link I used to downgrade java to v6 u31 http://www.ehow.com/how_8300480_downgrade-java.html

Nope, but if you show Brandon what I just said, he might be willing to help.

Isn't there an option "run this time"

I'm online right now. I'll help him. Though he doesn't seem to be on :S Smart works with J7. As ben said if you're not using the latest one then you have to set the path manually through advanced system settings and environment variables.

If it still doesn't work I'll take a look when we're both on at the same time.
