hello :)

as i was botting for like 3 days on my main, i finally heard today about the "bot nuke" and stopped botting straight away.

my question

does it still cause me ban, if i say legit for now, and do not bot till the "bot nuke" is over? or i am already detected, and will get banned, even if the not nuke, isn't released yet?

First of all we don't know anything about the bot nuke, besides it will happen and that it should not affect color scripts massively; we are not Jagex.

You should do what makes you feel safe, I know a lot of people who will continue to bot 24/7 until the bot nuke/after the bot nuke.

^This. Plus three days of botting is VERY UNLIKELY to result in a ban, even though they use "nuke" to describe their anti-botting system. If I had to guess, the nuke is more of a system that would prevent bots from running, and not a mass-ban-nuke.

Smurg dont say stuff like that. Poor guy will be worried sick. I know its all in good fun but some people may take it too seriously.
As for OP, yea man your all good. Ive been botting away for weeks now on my f2p account and nothing. We should get by unscathed by the nuke.

You should be ok. I'm botting about 6 hours myself everyday.

Last time jagex banned almost nobody with their botnuke, they said they did, but None of my botting runescape friends/ my own accounts got banned.

You're definitely doomed

Do something like Fist of Guthix or a nonbottable minigame (Screw you JJ for GOP). This will make you slip of the detected list in a good 3 hours. You can do dungeoneering as long as it isn't by yourself, and if you do it by yourself, talk like lol when you die or something.
This is what I did.

Little sidenote. I'm frickin pissed, I was dunging and said the "f" word, and now I have a mute? well "f" word you Jagex!

I bot 5 days a week for 8 hours (while I'm at work ;)). Then when I get home I play legit. Just mix in things that people don't/can't bot. I collect bstaves, make flasks, do herb runs, train slayer, train dg, do quests, do achievement diaries, etc. This is on my main, which is 2400+ total.

I botted last 7 days 24hours per day on my main with 400m on it, because I think the change of getting banned is one in 400m. ;) :p

Yeah like my mates bot farm of 50 Nature Bots All got completely Wiped off the face of Runescape a couple of days ago.. Yes Color 2 so seriously your all doomed and should start hoping n praying Runeglider get's released soon and save yo ayses..

I've only once been banned for botting, that was when I 24/7'd with rsbuddy, :D

Botted 24/7 for the last 3 months. Not even a warning…

i made a level 3 account for 4 days ago… botted 24/7 in all these 4 days, and nothing happened :P i think that Jagex dont care that much about botting in these days, but who know :P

Yeh but the thing is Jagex is only banning gold farmers actively atm, when Bot nukes comes they will nuke all of your acc's they just wanna make as much money from Memberships before they do it again.. pretty much all of your acc's have been flagged for sure.

i don't care anymore. if they do ban me, then fu@! the game, and life's going on :P

Actually, your last chance was durring the last bot nuke. You screwed. Just quit botting and enjoy the game as it was intended. you already all got some nice levels from botting, enjoy them and be safe - Don't bot - Play

jagex can't stop color bots.

They've been trying it for 10 years and they ain't gonna find a solution now.

I'm guessing a gold farm of that size would be a high priority target for Jagex, colour or not. >.<
