- This is the error that I get whenever I try to run Simba. I have tried using Java 7 and Java 6 and that did not fix it. When the "smart tab pops up after there error and I try to run that it says this - "[Error] (1:1): Unexpected end of file at line 0, Compiling failed."

If somebody could please help me fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank's so much for your time, HoMo.

Did you use Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall java? Also check out this: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?p=848708 follow the steps and see if it fixes your problem. Keep me posted :)

I tried the link posted earlier (That's why I tried java 6). I just uninstalled java in the control panel and uninstall program is there a difference? (I have an Hp with windows 7).

Yes, stuff can be left behind and cause the problem, revo gets rid of everything to do with it. Windows 7 isn't a problem so that's fine.

Try opening the script, and running it multiple times see if the smart tab opens.

Luckily i downloaded an older version on java 6 which fixed my problem thanks for the help

Welcome :) try avoiding to double post, in the future use the edit button.

In regards to where the scripts can be added to Locate your Simba folder, Mine is here: C:\Simba\Scripts

Simply paste them there and your ready to go :)

Actually what exactly do i do? i found my simba folder, do i copy the "simba script" file directly into the scripts section or what? and will i find it in the msi when i am trying to run it after i do that?

Well scripts posted here are made by users which you can simply have simba open, then go to File>Open>Scripts and select the script you want to run. Then Fill out the details n Press run.

MSI on the other hand is built in scripts which you select up top MSI>Open a forum should open and look like this:


Those numbers 1-5 are stuff you need to fill out.

Im talking about one i wrote that is in a separate tab and im trying to run it in the client as when i run it, it just says ran successfully

okay can you post what the script looks like here? Remove username and passwords too before doing so!

could you add on skype or something im trying to keep it semi private until it works
