Looking to make an herb cleaner for the RSPS Soulsplit to get herbalore xp. My problem right now is getting the color for Fernahei, the guy that sells them, because the colors around him are too similar it seems to just use FindColorSpiralTolerance and object finding doesn't work because of the old uptext. Anyone know a method I could use for this?

If you cannot get it to work then, don't be lazy and just update the uptext their is tutorials around here.

^^ either that or collect the herbs and bank them…from the point, clean them from the bank..

I am not going to take the time to update the uptext if there is another method I could try, since updating it would take a good bit more time.

It would take awhile but you would be alot happier and its near impossible to make a perfect color bot without the uptext lol, also what he said was you can simply make two scripts one that buys them and banks them then after you got your herbs make another that cleans them.

Well, I don't really plan on them to be perfect as it is just for an rsps. I don't know much about updating the uptext, but is it possible to only use the letters i need rather than updating all of them? Would be nice if someone has already done this, or if a few people would like to help work on it.

Well, I was probably going to make two scripts, but my problem is the buying part of the scripts, since the herbs aren't bought noted and I have trouble detecting the NPC.

I am probably going to take at look at the uptext part as it would benefit more than just me I am sure.

I got this script, as well as banking. Your best bet is probably checking the area of his hair, it worked for mine. just make it right click him and check if its the correct text by making a dtm of it.

I didn't read all these post, here is my input.

If you can redo the uptext, you will be able to make scripts for every other skill, not just herb. the amount of effort to change it would be well worth it in the end, since it is so simple once the uptext works.

I actually decided to do this. If anyone wants to help that would be awesome. Right now, I am working on the fonts for the uptext. Let me know if anyone is planning on updating any of the other texts.

Lucky you, i was just browsing through simbas sources and guess what i found? the uptext for 2010 (the same as SoulSplit)!

EDIT: i feel dumb because in Simba > Fonts > UpCharsEx, its also got the old uptext

I'm not so sure about his because I did take the time to do this yesterday. Some of the UpCharsEx text is the same, but a some of them are different. It may just be that I messed up in making them though.

What I am not sure of is how to use the font. I tried yesterday to use object finding and it would find the color, but determined it was wrong, I am assuming, from the uptext.
