Hey, whats up guys, Im just posting about the infamous Divine Spirit Shield, and I've had enough money to buy this thing for a while now, ever since it was up in the 700M price range. However, my friend told me to wait until the price drops down like all items. And he was right, the price for this badboy is about half now from that point. Now people have been telling me to forget the divine, and stick with an Ely and buy Torva/Pernix.

As you can see from Grand Exchange Central, It's done nothing BUT plummet.

Is it really worth it?

Do you as a community believe that the price of this shield will continue to go down? Considering the fact that the Optimus Bot Nuke is near, as I was informed, Do you think the price of the shield will go up?

Buy the shield Now? or Later?Let me know what you think!

If it is plummeting then i think its common sense deciding if its worth it or not.

They are changing stats for those spirit Shields.
When they release the new combat system, stats might drop, so as prices..
I wouldn't buy …for now..

In my own opinion, absolutely not worth it. Chaotics, DFS and Dragon Defender have ALWAYS worked wonderfully for me. I would rather put that money towards raw materials and raise some skills/ranks.

With the release of the evolution of combat coming in September, you should wait to see what the usefulness of the shield will actually be.

Also, Divine and Elysian should only be bought by people that have money to spare.

Divines are NERFED. DO NOT BUY THEM, it will have the same stats as the arcane and Elysian once the update happens, I made a thread about it

Don't buy any spirit shield, the price is too volatile along with Nex gear (I just sold all of mine, lost a bundle)

With the bandos shield and who knows what else they have planned to realease, divine could most likely drop down even more if the others prove to be better.

If eoc wasn't gonna happen I would have suggested you buy it as it is a great shield. It's much better than chaotic kite and better than ely. The prayer drain isn't as bad as it seems considering all the damage it soaks up. But since divine will suck with eoc, you can decide to keep all your money, or have the shield for a while and sell it back later for some cost to you.

Ahh.. I've been saving up for a long time for the Divine. It was plummeting but now it raised in 12m. What do you guys think? Will it to continue to increase in price? Or should I wait for it to drop more?

Wait for it to drop more. Not everyone has found out about the nerf. Im sure it will plummet more.
