Not the whole "new" generation is like this. Since the beginning of our culture we always had intelligent and stupid people. Today we got another problem, the TV. I don´t have anything against it but I can´t understand how parents let their 2 year old kids watching TV all day except playing with them in the park. The whole education is given bei the tv. In my opinion this is a huge factor to get kids like that. Also I bet their was 1 "cool" kid bullying that old lady and then the others thought, im as cool as him.
The video is misanthropic and disgusting but its not a whole generation. In my opinion these are special kids which needs special treadment. :stirthepot:

I work as an aged care nurse and too much shit happens to these helpless people, this lady is not even aged and she cops it, shows you how much power people have if they stick together, why can't we stick together for good? it would be so much more beneficial.
This is nothing like the new generation of kids, as i am 16, i can still remember how i was back in the day, we were annoying and we messed around of course but we never bullied anyone, its annoying how retarded little kids like that stereotype everyone else.

Managed to watch the whole vid but was super uncomfortable the whole way through. What I hate is the fact that no one overheard and tried to stand up for her. Not a single "leave her alone" or anything like that. It's depressing.

Yea it's the same if you're over 18 (USA) When you're under I've gotten plenty of charges and they all get ignored because it's in defense.. Stuff like breaking kids noses on the playground when they're bullying etc, I snap on that stuff easily

Lol at the soap think, my parents threatened to pull that sometimes :P to be honest, like many of the posts so far I have to agree that this was horrible, I'm 16 now but if I look just a generation or two down, I can see that the kids have only a thin veneer of politeness towards their elders.
After watching Flight's responses, I've got to agree with both responses. They said that by not responding she showed integrity, by showing herself as better than their taunts. Yes, someone could go around and break their faces, but maybe it could teach these kids that its acceptable to go around doing that. Maybe corporal punishment would help a bit, but in the long run I don't think it would help. Good to see that the internet banded together and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for her :P bit disappointed that the kids only got suspended from the bus, if I was the head of their school, I'd kick them out without a thought.

I'm sorry but when I was a kid I was taught to respect others(Heard "Respect your elders" often). I was punished for my misbehavior, when severe enough that included a spanking. I don't think any kid will learn a lesson from being "grounded" if he/she is confined to a room containing a computer, ipad, or whatever.
I mean whatever happened to the Golden Rule anyway?
