This is on hold.

Well recently I've maxed combat, and so I decided its time to step things up! I plan on doing this by Runecrafting! After my goal has been reached I plan on buying full Torva, + Divine and a few other items with the 800m! The set cap is with current prices of items, and many players reckon items will drop.

Edit: So after a little looking around & a few discussions it would seem holding the money being made is best idea, because of the combat update coming in the near future. So I will be holding onto the 800m instead of buying the Torva & Divine shield.

The estimated time on this goal will be 4-5 months!

I will be update the thread as I go, probably everyday ;) Will be doing daily adds, then tally then for the week.

Well a little disclaimer: I got a third age druidic item worth 500m+ and won 1b+ in stakes in that time. But you can easily make money through pvm, bottable money makers and some merchanting. Bot nuke is coming up soon, so try to invest in something you think will rise a decent amount.

Always follow this, I got cleaned 3 times before I actually profited. I'm a little bit of a staking addict now, which is pretty bad. Don't gamble even once, it might lead to an addiction like mine.

If you have a team (at least 2 other friends) to cs corp/nex (especially nex) as a main cash will be fairly easy to make, this thread looks cool but you need to add more to it (much more to it). Maybe take pictures of good drops/shares you get?

Lol staking can actually be profitable if you just do small %'s of your bank.

Wow, quite the money the maker ;). Hmm I was thinking of pictures, but pvm won't be my main money source! I'll be runecrafting mostly, guess I could update my runes crafted haha. Thanks for the tip though I'll see what my lazy friends are doing! Might give corp a go :).

I was thinking when Im done doing the things ive planned for now, Ill go back to runecrafting and make myself more money.

It is truley the best way to make money.
Also get a Wicked Hood, and if you can the full robes. They give minues to weight.
-10 for top and -8 for legs and -6 for cape. It would help running. + When you have all 4, there are some amazing effects you get. Very good for rcrafting

Definately dont stake… I boxed away 1.3b cash white fat and my torva… My bank now consists of about 100m… Soon i will be doing a rebuild thread like this i hope :) im thinking of making a rc army as well. Buy up the ess now and save em for after nuke runes should rise. Merching/flipping is also good money by the way.

Plenty of ways pvm, skilling, luring, stake, gamble, pking. I couldn't take donations, would feel too bad, and I think many people frown upon it. Thanks mate :)

I couldn't agree more :), for me it the one solid skill that can produce money. Thanks for the tip, I got the hood, cape, and top probably should purchase the robe bottoms. Thanks for the support :).

I'm in the same boat as you. You know, I think it's because we're old and our methods are dated. I'm not used to all this pvm stuff and staking. Besides doing like 4-6 quests, I haven't played legit in the last 4 years. So I have no idea what to do to make money anymore, it just blows my mind that people make billions, let alone 100 millions, so easily doesn't it you?

I recently got into dicing, with my measly 60m. Lost a lot of it then won a big gamble and in the end I have about 62m now lol. I think I might try to max my combat and try the duel arena.

just when like 2 months ago one of my old friend who i used to pk with called me in skype
telling me to come back to rs its all good now so i was happy and stopped Wow lol

I had 5 accounts all good lvls and skills all were cleaned and some of them were locked
got all my shit back and i said let me look for botting i cant legel and waste all my time again and this is how i got here after i was lookin for a safe way!

in 2 months of coming back first month i did rocktails made me 20m
staked that to 180m and stopped lol now im just skilling and doing one stake daily

I have got purple and 151 fish masks and like 300m ^^

Thanks for the support! Yeah I wasn't much of a good pker myself, so I didn't venture there much. Sad story leaving, I lost a lot of friends after that update came out, and then free trade was gone, lost even more.
Ah, I used to play wow as well! got bored though! I'm signed onto the new Beta it looks alright.. seems to run a lot smoother on my pc than cata ever did, and no more annoying dc's!

Jonno, might I suggest that you not go for those items until after the beta goes live, I would stick with a yellow phat goal (~770m atm I think) and then if the items are still worth it after beta because part of the game, then you should go for them. Divine is looking like its going to be the most worthless shield while ely/arcane are going to be the most useful.

Just my thoughts on items of go for. Also, along the way, are you planning on maxing your account (2475 total)?

I'm always open to suggestions, I was thinking the same thing, but I figured one way or another I'll get them in the future :). Hmm, not so much a fan of discontinued items, if anything I will hold onto the money and see what happens to things. Really I had no idea about it being so worthless why is that? Hmm, I might use some of the money for construction and crafting they are the two money guzzling skills left, they rest are just draining skill ;) so I wouldn't say max quite yet, but close to it! :) Thanks for the suggestion and support!
