Hey everyone,

I have a major problem, at least to me it is, I was about to run SMART but when i hit the play button this error message came up:
_________________________________________________________________
Simba.exe - System Error

The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try re-installing the program to fix this problem.
_________________________________________________________________

So I got a new script of the same one and it still didn't work, so i re-installed Simba and it didn't work.

I really needed to work on my woodcutting today but i can't so fast help would be appreciated.

And you could've used the search button or google the MSVCR100.dll error and find a solution since its been asked many times

This was an unnecessary post. If your going to ask him to search at least help him on his way. A link would have been helpful.

No.

Jakee did the right thing, you don't feed the people answers, you tell them HOW to get answers, so they can get it themselves next time. You teach them.

A "major problem" that has been solved a million times over the past few years and is easily found - even in the how to install simba tutorial threads. now this will be another thread where people can use the search function to find their answer

You don't them the answers, you just help them on your way. Trust me it works a lot better. When i was really new here and made threads like these when people just said search it i would ignore it and wait till someone hopefully answered my question. But if you say give them a link to the search bar or something stupid like that but still helpful they might actually look for it themselves.

Sorry to say bro but I agree with NKN and Jakee on this one. When Jakee said
google the MSVCR100.dll error
I think the word "Google" stood for itself as a link and he even suggested what to search.
NKN is right, if you feed people links it only encourages threads like this.

Okay guys, i think that is enough replies.

I learned something today, if you have a problem with smart dont post it on here because people will get on to you for not doing "this thing before that thing".

Thanks for your overwhelmingly helpful replies

People don't mind helping, but when people post the same error like once a day without doing a simple search or even looking over the FAQ, it can get pretty annoying
