No, I didnt, it shows my IP adress now. It was the script in my sig, I've already taken the info out of it though, lol

Ah that's shit as! I always check newly uploaded scripts for these mistakes I actually checked yours but there was no info in there though I must have just missed it! How much did you get cleaned?

The IP should be stored here: C:\Simba\Includes\SRL\Logs\IPLogs

Teq, it says that folders empty, nothing in it… I dont even know what I'd do with his IP, im not some crazy hacker dude, lol

If u have the IP admins can check the matching IP and ban the guy from villavu, though most of the time they are users with <10 posts so it isn't very effective.

A good practice is to never save your password within a script regardless of its ostensible banality.

Good according to who? Just don't post your password.

Go fish lobbies or swords till you get 20-30k. Buy a hatchet or pickaxe and then go all out wcing or mining.

Could you post your stats so we could help you out?

Ah man, that sucks :/. I'd probably mine a couple thousands of Rune Essence, and then craft them into runes, probably Astrals.. :P

This is the thought that killed me the most when this happened to me. Of course it was for like 100m though.. still nothing has been done on jagex's side, or on here :P

Has happened to me before as well, and it sucks. One kid even tried stealing the account, haha.

Happened to me here also but the community here was so great that some guy changed my pass and pm ed it to me so I lost nothing. This is what happens with all the new leeches

I heard there is a way to check who had downloaded the file, and can cut it down to the few people; But won't give you the answer unless you had a sample IP or something :(

You should contact jagex, and claim you got hacked, and get the person who stole from you banned.

I could spare a couple of mill if you needed it. I (unlike r4nd0m) had all the rares, but lost them due to a keylogger at my old school, and I had no way of tracking the person who did it. Wish I still had my green phat…but whats gone is gone is the way I look at it.

I would like to say thank you for supporting the forums, even if there are leaches out there that will do this kind of thing.

Well back then, they were much lower, I've skilled a lot since then, and yes, it is a member. What are you getting on?

pro-tip for developing scripts: Keep a dev version and release number versions, you can leave your info in the dev version, but when ever you go to save it as a release version you can remove it and then just save as a new file. That way you don't have to keep entering it in after a release, and you don't worry about your stuff getting jacked. <— I Learned the hard way too.

Been cleaned twice in a 4 week period with people logging onto my accounts due to leaving info on scripts so I feel for you bro!

Had this happen to me not so long ago, was PMing someone helping them with their script and left my details in.
Luckily I got the guys IP and the admins here banned him :)

It's a shame that these things happen, but they do.

Fixed your post. Im actually working on about 3 scripts at the moment, as well as fixing all my scripts that broke in the SMART 7.2 update. :O Thanks for the support guys, seems like a lot of people have this issue. Im using silents suggestion at the moment, make two copies of all your scripts, one DEV version, and one PUBLIC version.
