So.. I'm Ala. You can call me Julien. I like to keep it casual.

So, I'm not 100% new to SIMBA, I used to hang out at the old SCAR communities before they completely died. I quit RS for a while and came back to it, deciding to bot the fuck out of it until I get banned.

I revisited the SCAR community, scar-divi, and realized it is beyond dead. With four active posters and no new scripts, I decided to search for something else.

I was on google and noticed Simba, which I had heard of before but never knew what it was about. I came here, downloaded it and.. Wow. What a familiar interface.

Back when I was at moparisthebest and such, I had wanted to learn SCAR scripting, but at the time I was around 12 and had neither the patience nor the mental capacity required to learn a coding language.

Now I'm here, almost 18, and I want to give it another shot.

I've already glanced through some tutorials and already feel as overwhelmed I did those years ago, but I still want to try. Any advice and help along the way would be awesome.

So.. That's me. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask.

PS, why does the banner never seem to load? I'm running HughesNet, which has latency through the roof, but that doesn't explain 88/89 elements loading on this page in two hours, the 89th element being the header that takes me to the index.

Start with the basics, start here:
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76632

it contains all tuts available and even more; as you read it and use the scripts available on the site, go through each script and try to understand as much as possible. When you don't understand something, paste it here and people will explain.

Blow kisses (rep) at scripters who add anti-leech to their scripts. Although their number one reason for doing it is to prevent people who are fully part of the community(<200 posts) from using the scripts and not contributing, they are also a good way to learn and self-teach yourself. It helped me a lot especially with Mat's Law Runner; Now that was a good anti-leech! :D
