Runaway Presents:

Daemonheim Fire-Cooker

ALPHA
—————–
|= Version: 0.2 =|
—————–
Status: Working
Last Updated: 9/15/2012

Description
This script makes a fire and cooks food at the Daemonheim bank. It uses the unlimited teleports supplied by the dungeoneering ring to return to the bank if anything goes wrong.

How to Use
1) Fill out the setup.

const
FoodToCook = 'custom'; // Valid choices: trout, salmon, tuna, lobster, swordfish,
// custom (see CustomItemColors tool for instructions)
UserPin = ''; // Leave blank if not using a pin
TimeToRun = 360; // Minutes to run the script for (0 to run until stopped)

procedure DeclarePlayers;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer := 0;

with Players[0] do
begin
Name := ''; // Player username
Pass := ''; // Player password
BoxRewards := ['XP', 'ostume', 'mote', 'oins', 'une', 'ssence'];
LampSkill := Skill_COOKING;
Active := True;
end;
end;

2) Place your character anywhere.
3) Equip:
–> Ring of kinship
4) Make sure the food you're cooking and willow logs are visible in your bank.
5) Hit run!

Requirements
1) 30 Firemaking

Additional Info
-> If the script is having issues with food colors, use the CustomItemColors tool and it should fix the problem!
-> Only willow logs are supported.
-> Try not to wear equipment that will block the fire from view if the player is standing on top of it.
-> The script will only run for 1 load if the TimeToRun const is set to an unreasonable amount (9999+). Be sure to set it to 360, 720, etc.

Seems like a great idea for cooking :) ill leave a proggy if I get around to running it tonight

This looks great testing it out right now!

One thing to note however, you will find your xp values for cooking are incorrect, as cooking on a fire increases your cooking xp by 10%. I already changed the value for lobbies on mine so that the proggy is displaying the correct xp.

I will use this after Im done with the crafter or on my main if I feel like I should get 99 cook. Nice work as always!! :)

Wow… makes me glad that I chose fire-cooking over range-cooking! I'll add that in whenever this gets updated.

I've posted a swordfish proggy, looks like it averaged around 130k xp/hr (with 136 burned) :)

Well, I've got good news and bad news. Bad news is that it isn't random-free. I've gotten nabbed by randoms a few times while testing it.

Good news is that I'm releasing a tool tomorrow (along with an update to allow 'custom' to be placed in the FoodToCook field) that will allow people to use a custom food by running the tool with a raw, cooked, and burned version of the desired food in the first 3 slots. It will print an edit to the code in the debug box and then you simply copy + paste that into the custom setting area :)

So: I don't need any account lends, I don't have to find more food colors, and it will be super easy to use a custom food. I call that a win-win-win!

Very great idea and script, since there are no Randoms at Daemonheim, you can level up at peace and with no breaks, very good indeed

Ahh great pitty that there's randoms! Script still runs fine though yes?

I'm really liking this script so far, only problem i noticed so far is when it lights a fire on top of a random event gift box it doesn't detect the fire, then rebanks and lights a new fire then cooks on that.

Runaways v0.1!
<=----------- Daemonheim Fire-Cooker ----------=>

| Lobster: 2432 cooked

| Banked: 96 loads
| Cooking XP gained: 321024 XP
| Firemaking XP gained: 4590 XP
<=---------------------------------------------=>
This time it stopped running after failing maze. I must need to take a break, getting way too many random events.

Edit: I did just watch it use my uncooked food on a fire that was lit on top of a random event gift box, so it doesn't miss it every time just some of the time.

Here is my latest run.

Wasn't a script problem though, got the Leo random unfortunately.

I'm not entirely sure if I can fix the random box issue… I'll have a look into it, but no promises. Maybe I can just up the FindFire tolerance a bit for a few loads if it finds/solves a random event. We'll see :) I've added your report to the top reports, btw!

Also, I've almost finished the custom food tool. I'm testing and tweaking it right now, so it will definitely be done by the end of today :stirthepot:

I saw you found the answer to this (as stated in a couple posts, in this thread, before my current post), however additional input; if you were to mod your script so that you don't create any fires, just read your MS for fires closest to the banker, you can be random free in popular daemonheim worlds (where people cook/bonfire in between dung's).

Granted this isn't an efficient xp method (as ppl can still not make bonfires / fires) - however it could possibly be an option at start too.

Hope this helps/gives ideas, you've done plenty of that for me (as I think you've seen/know! :P )

We'll see, I would rather make some sort of chop & bonfire for the dual-xp aspect ;)

I'll have to look into this. It could still keep a log in the inventory if a fire isn't found, but it could simply make others' fires a priority. Thanks for the suggestion :)

In the latest script news, I've uploaded v0.15 with custom food support as well as the CustomItemColors tool to autonomously gather the colors for you :garfield:

EDIT: Proof that the CustomItemColors tool works!

You could just try to light a fire for yourself to see the highest point where you can light one. Anyway everywhere you can light a fire here you can also get randoms.
Also Runaway never claimed it was random free, and if you read a couple posts up he mentions that there are still randoms here.

Edit: Dang was trying to get an even longer proggy, but srl logged me out after it "Failed" a random that it actually completed.

As vinzone said: anywhere you can light a fire, you can get randoms. So, for the sake of randomness I made it so the script would choose a random point on or past the "lightable" zone start line.

Alright thanks for the info

If I can suggest an idea, I've noticed how it always stands on the fire or east,south,west of the fire but never north of it

If you can stand north of the fire is it possible to be in a random free zone?

It has to enter the random-zone eventually since it's necessary for making a new fire, and that happens every other load. So unfortunately there is really no way around it.

It's fine though, I'd say this is still a very efficient method for cooking since it gets the +10% cook xp, fm xp, and the walking is very stable since the bank symbol is right near the banker no matter what :)

Ah, unfortunately there is no way to save it. As for the food colors, if you come across any color issues, the CustomItemColors tool can be used to quickly fix them (I'm not sure if that's how you grabbed the tuna colors or not).

Because I'd be having the same exact color issues I'm having now; it would just be harder and more annoying to fix them ;)

Well… I made a script that simply combines pizza ingredients togheter, and I use DTM's and the script is flawless, almost 99% chance that the script will choose the correct ingrediets

You can send it on over, but I doubt I will be switching over to DTM's :p I've moved on from DTM's a while ago since TPA/ATPA's and color work much better (once you find the right color, that is >.<).

Did you download both scripts & use the "CustomItemColors tool to grab CustomColor values?"

I downloaded CustomItemColors tool, however there are problems that occur.. Pretty much the same with BGXD's problem. But I have read posts on how to solve that, but after that there are further problems.. So I gave up.. Then I saw that lobsters' colours are actually given already.. So yeah I started the script, opens the bank and would look for raw lobster but it doesn't withdraw it ;-;

Updated to v0.2! I haven't tested it yet, but it should work with all versions of Simba now :)

Hello again,

I am having some troubles with cooking lobster. Surprisingly, the very first time I opened up the script it worked right off the bat without issue. Twenty minutes in or so I got a random, which I solved myself.

Now it seems to either have difficulty identifying the lobster color values or the quantity of the item. I have changed the values several times with the color picking tool to no avail. It will go as far as to hover over the lobster, which means it may identify the color but not the quantity of the item? In the debug box I get "Not enough supplies!" I am on a F2P world this time, if it matters. Any ideas on how to solve this?

(By the way, I am thouroughly enjoying your awesome scripts Runaway. Thanks.)

I have uploaded a new version (v0.21) using an experimental color-finding method that should theoretically eliminate all color issues. I'm trying to find the best method for the SRL competition script ;)

The latest version, DaemonheimFireCooker_v0.21_Test, only supports lobster and swordfish for now. I would love if people could provide feedback on how it runs!

Cool, thanks for the update!

I went ahead to try it out and it is no longer having a problem identifying the raw lobsters. The only problem now is that it cannot identify the willow logs, which are present right next to the lobsters.

I was going to attempt to edit the color ID for the willow logs. But I am unsure which numbers to edit. Rather than only two color intergers I see three values here: [1325376, 5, 60] What do the 5 and 60 represent? Should I leave them be and only edit the first value?

Thanks for your time.

Make sure willow logs are in the first slot.
1.logs
2.raw lobbs
3.cooked lobbs

How many willow logs do each of you have? I've used a function to find the black item outline and determine which item it is depending on the shape, but I had some issues with the willow logs. The outline is covered by the stack amount number when in the bank and it also seems that the outline changes a bit in the bank as well. I tested this with 200 logs, so if you have 1000+ the outline tolerance might need to be increased.

Try going to the FindTPAItem function and editing the second line:

begin
SetLength(Result, 0);
TPA1 := FindTPAShape([131072], [0], Outline, 0.25, Box); // <- this line
if (Length(TPA1) > 0) then
begin

Decrease the 0.25 to 0.2 and see if if works. Then try 0.15 and 0.1 if it doesn't. If 0.1 doesn't work then I'll look into an alternative method.

E: Also, to answer your question about what the values mean here [1325376, 5, 60]:

1325376 = the base color of the item
5 = the tolerance in CTS3
60 = the minimum count of the base color found to return true

Thanks Runaway. I will go ahead and toy with the values a bit and see if I can't get it working. I might even changed the number of willow logs as well to see if that works. (I had 115 in the bank by the way.)

I'm still new to this whole scripting thing and I am learning every day. Your help is always appreciated.

EDIT:
Although 0.25 and 0.15 did not work, a value of 0.2 seems to be working! Here is a proggy for you:

<=———– Daemonheim Fire-Cooker ———-=>

Great script. Use of the teleport to 'reset' if a problem is encountered is very nice!

One bug encountered - if the script encounters a problem and teleports, during which time the fire dies, then if there are both cooked and uncooked fish in the inventory, the script will not bank, and is unable to light a new fire, but will instead continually search for a fire and teleport when this does not work, resulting in an endless loop.

Not a huge problem though, as the conditions required for this to happen are fairly unlikely (once in two thousand fish).

Love the script! It works a treat, i've gone from 84 to 95 cooking in 2 days haha. Was running for 12 hours yesterday!

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use the customcolor script correctly. It gives errors everytime :( I can just cook swordies all the way to 99, but cooking rocktails now would speed it up :D

Thanks for making this script btw, it rocks.

I must say Runaway, I do like your scripts :)

You've made almost all the scripts in my ToDo list :p
[Been away from SRL for some time, back for a lil while now]

I'll be sure to try this one out and get a proggy if I remember :p
[As well as a proggy for your super heater ;)]
