Daemonheim randoms...

I'm going to be creating a fire-cooker script and I wanted to utilize the daemonheim no-random zone. I found out that you can only make fires a little south of the banker:

I don't want to use daemonheim if it's going to be susceptible to randoms; I mine as well use something more efficient if that's the case. Do you think this is still part of the random-free area?

Are you referring to past the steps of, (this is where i get taken). I don't think they would make randoms near banker as it would annoy a lot of legit trying to sort group and 1 or 2 get taken by randoms, would just be draining.

I'm referring to where the fires are; they are the closest I can get them to the banker. I know that you can get randoms if you go down near the dungeoneering rewards guy, so I'm just trying to figure out where the random-free zones begins/ends. It could very well begin right where you're allowed to make fires… at least it makes sense to me that it would work that way :p

Ah I see. Yes that makes sense to me too. I think it starts at the stairs, cause after standing around for ages after coming out of a dung, I decided to request assist with effigy, maybe it just wasn't my time, but I got nothing standing up top of the stairs :/. Play it on the safe side though I'm sure where the fires are its definitely a free zone.

I do not think that the random zone starts there, probably waaaaaay farther away!

Atleast 10 Tile south.

Alright guys, thanks for the input. I'll start making it for daemonheim. I guess if you can get randoms there I'll just make it an option. :)

Only one way to test. Get 100k+ XP either dunging or using your superheater, and then move south of the banker, one tile at a time. Wait like 30 seconds on each tile until you get a random. I'd do this if I were dunging actually.

This :p
I rmb few weeks ago i saw a guy making the fire and get randomed, not sure if he actually run 1 more tile than required to light.

But if u notice, it takes like 3-5 seconds of being at random-prone zone for a randomer to teleport u, so if u light it fast enough and run back a square to add the bonfire (yes u can add to the bonfire from the tile that u cant make a fire!) it should be fine.

^ So what your saying is, Find the exact start of the Zone Light the fire On that Tile Walk into the Random Free Zone and You won't be effected since you can stand 1 Tile Away Hahahah.. thats funny as.

If only I could be that precise with map-walking :p It's a little too late anyways, I've already finished making this (will be releasing today) and it's just stays in that little corridor. Even if it gets randoms it'll still be rather nifty since it can return to exactly where it should be if it gets screwed up / tele'd somewhere random.
