I have some plans for expanding and just making everything better about memberize.me this summer.

I was just pondering having a section/area of the site with the contact information of some of my previous customers.

They can choose email, X Instant Messenger, or X Cheating Community Username as contact methods along with their Name/Username.
I'll just have a list of your username/contact method, this way new customers can talk directly with old/previous customers for a couple seconds about any questions they have about legitimacy.

I know this can potentially lead to spam(not really :p) or just being annoyed by people messaging you. But my site doesn't get SUPER much traffic or anything and I'm sure the people who contact you will just have a couple questions about legitimacy and that's all.

This will be opt in only of course!
So can any previous customers of mine who would not mind having their Username/Contact info listed on my site post below and let me know.

I just thought of this a few minutes ago, might be kind of weird/not sure how many would want to. So I'm just trying to get a rough count/feedback on the idea.

inb4 stupid idea shot down like crazy D:

i would refer you to some friends ^^

YoHoJo

I was also thinking of some kind of referral system type thing too.
Nothing TOO special/big deal, maybe refer a friend get 500k-1M off your next purchase.
Not super sure I'd want to do that thought.

Also thanks so far to everyone who wouldn't mind opting it! It really means a lot!

I just really want my site/business/whatever to be 'the best', professional looking, and stand out from others.
I think letting people talk with previous customers might really help them feel safer doing business with me.

Letting new customers personally contact your previous customers is a wonderful business idea. Once I buy membership from you (eventually haha), you can definitely add me.

A small tip to increase the traffic would to be lowering the prices by a quite alot. Theres not hard to get a pin for 12m from a seller with 1k+ trades, just saying

I've had the idea brewing for a while, but overall I'm not too sure I want to do it, I need to think it though some more and run some numbers and stuff. I'd definitely let you know once I was sure and had a solid idea about how I'd do it :D.

Very good idea ;)

I lol'd when i saw your prices… just bought a 3 month pin for 28m elsewhere. gf

FYI - 1 Month pins go for 10-12m and 3 month pin for 30m normally.

Why not add moneybookers.com ? Unlike paypal, it won't have chargebacks/disputes, so you are safe with it. Or sell membership with playerauctions, they accept moneybookers.com.

Your telling yohojo how to sell his cards? He's making a killing and his prices aren't being turned down. When I reach 99 wc I'm buying a card from him

EDIT: Mostly the price would cover him being trusted above almost everyone else

not telling him how to sell his cards.. simply stating what they go for normally. To suggest that the overprice means his legit is funny being others have 1k+ purchases ;)

EDIT. Its like going to the store would you purchase something for $100 dollars when the store down the road has the same exact thing for $60 ? To each they own i guess… i can care less tbh was a simple suggestion… goodluck.

i agree for a poor noob like me they're a little more than other sellers BUT your paying for security and most people prefer to pay a little more to be safe. also sure he charges a decent amount but that because he has to buy the cards etc which comes out of his wallet and time

If you don't like the prices, you don't have to buy from him. Take that attitude somewhere else.

His prices are higher because he's running a website. He buys all the cards legit, he doesn't use stolen cards like MANY of the other 1k+ purchases people do.

Your analogy is wrong.

There is a intersection by me that has three major supermarket chains. Publix, Walmart, and Target. Nobody goes to the Walmart or Target, even though they have lower prices. People go to the Publix because of the ease of use, the satisfaction of shopping there, and the great customer service. They rather pay more for a product and get treated right, instead of going to the most cheapest place where the employees don't care about their job.

If you "can care less" (Should be 'couldn't care less'…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om7O0MFkmpw - Great funny video!) then why are you still commenting on it? You don't like his prices, that's fine, no judgement. It's your attitude that I have a problem with.

1. Attitude ? Stating that his prices are way overpriced is having an attitude ? lolz. I didn't get ripped off so like I've said before i can care less.

2. I've owned many websites ran on VPS's and on multiple powerful dedicated servers with high amount of traffic… get the picture ;) And can tell you with a simple Google search one can run a site for as cheap as $6 a month on a windows vps. your point?

3. not even worth touching… You like to spend extra for same service, same item… good for you.

4. TBH… i dont like your attitude! Are you mad because, i got a cheaper deal or because i suggested what they normally go for ?

PS. stolen cards ? lololz so over 1k+ transactions of one seller alone of " stolen " cards and not one negative feedback yet ? ;)

yay yay.. i knows, you gonna say some smart comment and tell me to gtfo.. blah blah blah… seems like everybody likes to say that when one speaks around here >.>

Yes, attitude. Instead of just stating you can get them cheaper from somewhere else, you go and do this:

When really, you didn't have to say anything or could of said something a long the lines of: "Kind of steep prices if you ask me."

Proof of these websites, otherwise you're talking out of your ass.

LOL at Windows VPS. Really? That's your idea of hosting? $6 a month for hosting is one of those "You get what you pay for" deals. Horrible.

I pay for quality products, and don't want a crappy host. Your point?

Nope, spend extra for better service. Did you even read what I wrote? Probably not, you just read one peace and started raging.

I don't even use YoHoJo's service. I can afford paying with my card.

I don't care what they normally go for, this isn't the thread about it. The thread is about YoHoJo's service, NOT a comparison of where you can get them cheaper.

That's the point I'm trying to make.

I never told you to "gtfo", I stated that you need to take your attitude elsewhere. Like I stated before, if you don't like the prices that's fine, just no need for the attitude.

My OP was a suggestion on a way for the site owner to increase traffic thus sales. No one other then those that don't know ( which is slim ) would ever purchase at those prices, unless their people like you that like to over pay for this sense of being " legit ". In the end he's in a market that is kinda competitive so adapt or die. Being a ex site owner myself understand the prices of servers, domains, ssl certs., etc. and wish this dude the best and much success.

ps. yea a windows vps @ $6 p/month would work as, i can assure you he's not getting thousands of visitors a month that would require a dedi server.

pps.. I also was a sysadmin of a IRC Network… want proof of that too ?

Or people who like getting great customer service, not the cheapest.

I actually don't overpay for anything, I bargain shop and get the best deal around. I'm currently paying for unlimited everything with my hosting company, at rates that no one else can even come close to.

What if he expands to 10K visitors a month? You'd then have to move hosting to a more beefed up server. That's a pain.

tbh i would never use a windows server… wouldn't touch one if you gave it to me for free… I strictly use freebsd or linux servers.. hell even @ home use freebsd, mint and mac os's, but thats besides the point ;)

Only suggested as its the first thing that popped up when i googled " cheap vps " ;)
