SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

As we all know epicbot is down, and has been for about a day, quiet annoying for those of us who just bought the dung script, for a hefty price also.

I was looking on the powerbot forums, to find a reason why epicbot was down, and i found a thread that stated that epicbot has been taken down by jagex. Now i personally think this is not the case.

Can anyone confirm this theory? If not, what theory do you have, what news do you know?

I love simba, 0 down time and just as many flawless scripts, but they are free!

I'd like to know as well. Just bought the dung bot 6 days ago, so it would be quite a waste if it's gone for good :(

This better not be the case, I've only gotten 2m xp with that bot

I thought it was Ddosing?

I thought it probably was getting DDoS'ed, but when you visit the site now it says both of their server hard drives died. Pretty crazy that they could both die at the same time but it happened to my parents computers within a week so it's definitely possible.

There is no way Jagex took it down. I'm sure the site will be up within 24 hours if what they claim is true. Also it's been down for like 48 and maybe 72+ hrs lol.

Why would you spend so much on the dung bot with the Bot Nuke coming so soon. Seems like a huge waste to me, but oh well.

Why would you spend so much on the dung bot with the Bot Nuke coming so soon. Seems like a huge waste to me, but oh well.

I got from level 90-98 with it, got my use out of it if it is over with, but I can almost guarantee the site will be up within a day or two.

Yeah, I knew it was at least 72 but didn't know it was 4 days? Damn.

Edit- Yeah, just checked my history and seems like the last time I was on the site was Wednesday.

Curious on why majority of SRL will care? Most of us HATE injection bots. Its what ruined RS in the first place.

Only the new kids and the leechers who've stuck around give a rats butt or two on why they're pathetic injection bots aren't working anymore.

I hate injection bots too. As you can see by my join date, yeah I came after they got nuked. I didn't know about SRL though because if I would have, I never would have been anywhere else in the first place. With that being said, a lot of us here ARE using Epicbot's dungeoneering script (look at GOOGLE's thread), not because we necessarily like it, just because we don't have one here. If we had one here, almost no one would have ever bothered going over to Epicbot.

So yeah, a decent amount of users here will care. Also, scripts like dungeoneering have nothing to do with the RS economy, at least directly. You can argue that people are able to have Frost Dragon accounts from it, but, you get my point.

If we had one here, almost no one would have ever bothered going over to Epicbot.

it clearly says that both server drives have died.
probably another day or 2. provided they have a backup, if not then longer

If you haven't been around the botting scene to see many bots go down, you wouldn't recognize that Jagex did not take down epicbot.

See that domain? Links directly to jagex. Get used to seeing stuff like that because that's what it's going to look like when a bot goes down hard.

scripter don't hate injection, they are very useful and the head developers there are amazing programmers and major props to them.

Its just majority of their community have less patient than my 2 year old cousin and always TL;Dr

i went 82-90 15k off 91 in a week or so so i got my fair use of it 72m would of not even got me close to that its like 100m a floor lol and also you sir need to look at the realistic side all bots ruin the game in someway so yea…

Ok idiot, I made this thread before it "clearly said" that. I also sated in a later post that I had seen this, if you cared to read the whole thread.

Is this bot nuke coming within a month, after the combat update, when? If its really soon, im gonna be stocking up on shit and bot the hell out of my main.

The bot nuke is scheduled for july sometime beta starts tomorrow

epicbot website is still down. Haha, good thing I discovered Villavu :). That bot was no good anyway. Maybe except premium scripts.

Lol there is no need to call me an idiot, that is the error message i got the day it went down. the other one 'opps something must have gone wrong' is the forum pages, next time you ask a question ill turn my head should i?
