I used to do a lil scripting for SCAR back in the day and recently rejoined RS and play once in a while.. I'm surprised this community is still going strong C: Anyway though, how different is Simba from what I was using? I'd like to write a some more scripts for the fun and challenge of it, but I don't really feel like relearning everything.. Thanks for the help!
no difference what so ever.

Simple as the lion king..
Simba is the youNg one and scar is the old uncle..
scar is at the same point as simba atm. But in the future both got their own benefits coming up fairly shortly

Scar 4 (Titan) will own Simba.. Well thats as far as features go. Also just my opinion.
Other than that, atm, they are at the same point and do the same things. I like Scar's form editor though.
ye the possbility of titan.

Scar 4 seems to me to be to radically different to be realistically compared to simba. Which means for the purposes of SRL, it will make it even less accessible than it already is

But SRL doesn't matter because scar doesn't use SRL even now and is at the same place at this point in time. So the comparison is perfectly fine. They both bot runescape and other games and that's all that actually matters.

i mean that it wont be useful here because its not compatible with SRL (and the large departure of 4.0 will widen that gap even further). What does SCAR bot runescape with now? if you mean Icefire's thing, afaik there aren't many scripts for it (though i could be wrong there) but iirc, scar 4.0 would break OSI, and break the scripts that are being used with it too. So, that was my point.
Sure Simba and SCAR4 would have similar features, but they're not really the same product.
