Level 3 Autoers Good???

Ok, first of all, calm down and read on before you post, I do have a reason for thinking this. When i go around to places that have hundreds of autoers, 99% of them are level 3, default clothes, stupid names, now think about it… if you see 15 obvious autoers, and you are your average legit player, who are you going to bother reporting, if any at all, one of the hard to remember names of the people wearing the same green/tan stuff, or the one guy that wears the blue that makes him stick out like a sore thumb… Now, i know that the whole point behind getting level 20+ accounts and writing good scripts is to make it look like you aren't an auto, but if you watch enough macros, its kind of obvious when someone is using one, and really, a level 20 chopping down yews with 99 wcing is just as suspicious as a level 3 doing it…

Also, does Jagex want to get rid of macros? last i checked, there is a number of randoms we cant solve, all jagex has to do is throw the quiz random at anyone suspected of autoing, if they log out instead of solving it more than one time, insta-ban them… maybe jagex wants the macroers?
If so, then why work so hard to not be obvious?

I have 5 level 50+ ess miners running on Wizzup's Ess miner, along with 1 level 3. None have been banned yet, the level 3 does just as good as the 50's… when i get them to the mining guild we will see if anything happens, but until then, does it even matter?

IMO, Jagex needs macroers… Who's going to pay 1k for a yew log? The economy (and game) will fall without us.
If you check the Runescape forums, there are like 15 groups of around 50 people each who go around reporting all level 3/default clothes/crap named people they see - they sometimes spend hours world-hopping at Essence Mining and Yew Log areas reporting. I wouldn't want to risk it, as well as giving macroing a bad name.

Out of sight, out of mind.

If we go along with the level 3 default clothes thing, we'll just be adding to the problem.

Our kind of autoing isn't ruining RS one bit. Why? Because no one knows about us.

I think of my players as secret agents, that I send out into the field to be invisible. I properly train them to blend in and not die.

my point is, they do know about us. It's not that hard to walk down to Abury's rune shop, close the door repeatedly, and watch as half the ess miners there will log out, because their macros can't handle it, it's really not hard to spot a macro, a level 50 macroing is bound to attract more attention than a level 3, because the level 3's are everywhere anyways… now, if you have a private script, obviously you are less likely to be caught, but if you look at the thousands of people using wizzup's ess miner for example, every single one is so alike, that it's hard not to notice they are macroing.

Zebras, and other herd animals, are protected by the fact that hopefully one of the others will get eaten by a lion. But wouldn't you rather look like a lion?

Fawaki thinks of it like this : Cherish your players.
- Don't use Lvl-3 'mules'. That is very disrespectful and utterly stupid.
Lvl-3 'mules' have "BAN ME" written all over their default face.
Treat your players with respect, treat them as individuals. They are your Army,
they work for you. Don't leave them unattended. Level them up.
Switch scripts. Don't rape 'm…
Play legit with them once and a while.
If you manage to archieve an outstanding ranking (81+) on one of them,
QUIT autoing on that particular Player. He has become to valuable.
So yeah they are part of your army, they are your men going out to a war feild :D

im not sure it is.
Would u like to have 100 lvl 3's that get banned in a day?
or 1 lvl 35 macroer that could last a lifetime?
we people keep popping lvl 3 defaults thats just giving us a bad name
macroing is an art not something to be taken granted

Man if u ever got more than 80 in a skill u should start playing legit, it would suck to lose a lv20 with 99 wc lol
Anyway, I'm Tired of seeing 50 lv3's a world at falador yews, with chinese/korean names Getting owned by simple things like tree spirits.
If u have lv3s for the love of god get lv20+ -.-

20 is the minimum by the way. It should be around your highest skill, for example 60+ cmb for a guild miner.

but they never get banned, i have seen lvl 3's with skills in the 90's… thats not one day of work, trust me on that, and no they weren't skillers, it was one skill, and they had default clothes, and moved like randoms…

Why take the chance….just take 4-5 days or so using an autofighter and then auto woodcut/mine on them. You can auto characters on scar probably for years without them getting banned if you treat them good and not like pack mules. Scar is by far the best because its free, not detectable, and its fun to learn srl scripting(h).

level 3 autoers are bad!
i sometimes watch the scripts auto and i have been called a noob countless times when my level 3 was autoing
the only time i have been called a noob is coz i was wearing addy armour and mith 2h while mining copper to test out my script
if it weren't for the level 3s, people wouldn't get report happy and there wouldn't be as many bannings
put it this way, what advantage is it to be level 3 instead of 20+?

warbeak1245

2007-05-31 20:44:51

whatever, if nothing else, level 3's are awesome scapegoats…

Yes, It does matter as lvl 3 macroers do get banned way easier than higher levels, and not like anyone has ever got to 99 at any skill using SCAR.. The lvl 3 accounts are way more obvious to be macroing then for example +30 levels.. As how regular people see macroers: "Level 3, default clothes and they are either bald or have pink hair".. So in my opinion, it does help, as long as they dont know about the rules around here.
