I have NO clue why you'd go to him to buy it when he wont give you support.

The script selling part i'm not too concerned about (I am though, but the script has a major flaw in it), it's the fact that someone is impostering me via an email.
I will end up in trouble because of that shit, and will feel honor bound/guilt ridden to pay back the losses and frankly i dont want to do bs like that.

And how exactly did he get the script? If you sold him a copy from your website, then he's going to go around selling it to get his money back. Yeah it sucks he's selling your work but you're gunna have to patrol sythe too. Too bad it wasn't encrypted :c But only thing to do now is wait.. or at least link us to his profile. Never even seen a Neros around except for some guy introducing himself as neros after finding an account made back in 07. Is he a member? If not then you're gunna have pain getting rid of him because IP bans don't do much.

People like him don't care about a reputation here or getting caught. They're most likely from sythe or RiD and all they care about is making a few quick hundred mills. Obviously he needs to be IP banned.

But Shay, if you're going to sell scripts then you must expect that stuff like this will happen. I'd advise to obfuscate/encrypt the scripts you sell on sythe. I'm not sure about how easy it is, and then you have to deal with having a server, up-time, user/pass, support, and all that junk. But I do remember plenty of people used to do it. Starblaster100 had an extremely popular essence script back in the day (4 or 5 years ago) that I remember was encrypted and had all that stuff. If he could do it then, it's surely possible now.

Either way what you did was wrong so it should be up to a person's discretion that they unban you even with sufficient proof. Yes you were probably lured but I don't think you wouldn't have the sense to know what he was up to.

at first i didn't realize man, i had been smoking super silver haze :p
later on when i told him i'd sell for 20m i kinda realized i was gonna be biting the hand that feeds me. so i held back and didn't go through with it.

As soon as i realized what the impacts of this would be i ceased trade negotiations

Also. i know that even saying i'd sell it was the wrong move to make, and i accept full responsibility for the actions i made.
i would just like to make it clear that it was not my intention to try and leak a script and cause harm to the author (Shay ofc)

I respect everyone's intellectual property as it should be.
i will also be finding out who the imposter is as that would have affected me and Ashitaski really bad… there was alot of rares + $700 at stake

i already said i made a fucking stupid decision and decided to not go through with it. i make more in 3 hours with Shay's script than that trade was worth.

yeah, im sure he tried to buy scripts off someone else though, because shay screenshared a thread which highlighted the subject, obviously someone knows more about the situation.

i can't stress enough that im in the wrong for what i have done and will take due punishment. but i think there's a more serious incident in the picture too and i would also like too see justice for that.

this was discussed this morning on skype with shay but he had to go to bed for his exam today, once he gets back on everything will be sorted fully. this is why im telling people to not jump to conclusions about both incidents.

the imposter is someone i came across on sythe months ago while i was looking for Shay's sales (S1n at the time), i never removed the addy from my msn, so today when ashitaki was wanting to trade with me and asked for an mm i decided to give the "so called" Shay a message on msn because i knew i could trust him to mm shit (why wouldn't i trust him?) and i don't use sythe so i didn't want to use an mm from there…

turns out i was wrong and it was an imposter and i get called a scammer.

ashitaki asked for a pm off shay on the forums, this is when he found out about the imposter and all this surfaced, naturally the blame got pinned on me. but im only in the same position as ashitaki.

If he can provide picture proof of you saying that, then your story about claiming you did not know that the scammer shay was on your msn is FALSE, proving you indeed tried to scam and who knows what else…

yeah i said i knew him because i had talked to him for a few weeks while i was searching for the shop, i didn't know that it wasn't the real Shay as i only use my MSN for trading and i don't really do much of that.

it was a serious misjudgment by me, i just instantly thought that it was the real shay when i saw him online… i had no reason to believe it was an imposter (why would i knowingly have one added)…. so as soon as ashi PM'd Shay and shay said no, he hadn't been on msn. ashi branded me a scammer. which is actually understandable… i was shocked too. i was about to hand $700 to an imposter -_-

all i can do is fight to prove my innocence. iv'e lost a full nights sleep over trying to sort this.

because the 2-3 threads made were not ever meant to be related anyway.

offense 1) selling script.

offense 2) scamming (which is where the whole impersonation thing came into play)

the 2 got linked because the middleman in the scam was impersonating shay and i "nearly" sold one of shay's scripts to po2n star. which he was going to apply for srl members with unknowing to me.

the guy who accused me of scamming couldn't provide any logs from msn or pics of me supposedly impersonating shay (the impersonator is the guy i met on sythe and left in my msn contacts because i stopped using msn and went to skype)
So when i used msn to try and do this trade with Ashitaka or whatever he is called. The impersonator shay was online. I didn't know he was the impersonator from all that time ago so i decided to ask him if he would mm for us. then when ashitaka PM'd shay on here to verify he would mm, shay obviously replied "WTF u talking about" because the guy on msn was an impersonator.

ashitaka went and posted about me being a scammer, when in reality i was in the same position as he was because i too would have been scammed by the impersonator. i honestly don't know why anyone would think im a scammer. iv'e done trades with NCDS and a few others :/

i even asked the guy if we could go 50/50 and i'd go first, and he requested an MM, so i asked the person i thought was shay.

then all this happened.

my actual ban is for the script sales, which i totally agree with and as discussed with shay was something i did while i was highly intoxicated and was a moronic idea.

Eh, technically yes. People starting over and try and make good in the SRL community is not an uncommon thing. The main thing is that he is exposed and he no longer has access to members-only scripts and a trusted name.
I am saying this under the assumption that he is indeed at fault here, if he is not then I am sorry for all this but the evidence above looks like a pretty solid case against you Neros.

Besides he needed to use the other account so that he could come and appeal his ban on the forums.
