Hey guys,
I've been thinking about doing some pretty intense botting recently, taking my botting hours of 12hrs a day up to about 18.
Obviously as I am still at school I need to sleep and I am un-able to sleep with the laptop in my dorm as it makes a noise.
How would I be able to take my botting up without running my laptop?
A vps I've heard but not really sure what that is/entails.
Thanks.

If you have access to another computer, use teamviewer to set it up from your laptop. You can buy a VPS and run bots on it too, but that'd be pointless unless you earn serious cash from botting.
Buy some noise cancelling headphones and deal with the sound.
VPS will cost you too much money if you still go school.

A VPS is a virtual private server. You don't need that. As said above, use another computer and have teamviewer set up to control it from your laptop or iPhone/Android. That's what I do and it's amazing how well teamviewer works.

Well in my books that's as extreme as i'm going to get, no point over doing it.
E: Thanks guys for the other advice :D

How about if you leave your laptop outside your room, like somewhere in the living room or set up a small table in a closet and place it in there…

I'm at a boarding school so it would be kinda weird if i left it somewhere else..

Yea botting on laptops is a bad idea unless the laptop is meant for gaming. As mentioned before, set up the bot on a desktop comp and use team viewer to control the bot when it gets to randoms, etc. **You can also block input from other users who might want to access the comp you are running your bots on so they cannot interrupt.
**Note that it does not stop them hitting the power button
