Going to try and expand/advertise my upgrade selling website at some other markets this summer.

I'd like a graphic made that I can post on threads which gives information about the site, prices, etc to draw attention and look professional.

Rough examples of what I'm looking for:

Keep it simple and minimalistic, but make it look nice :].
For now, try to make the colors/theme blend in/look good with the Sythe.org forums (links above).

You don't need every single word from the website, but the basic info, and anything draw people in and make it seem safe and legitimate.


Tell me any other info you will need and I'll give feedback about all of your submissions.

Compared to some it's quite a bit come, compared to others it's only a little bit more.

You are paying for the security and peace of mind that the upgrade you are getting is legitimate and you will not get scammed.

Many people sell either stolen or illegally obtained upgrades which is why some can sell for such dirt cheap prices (8M etc). There is NO WAY they got them legitimately OR they are losing money.
Let's say someone was selling upgrades at 10M, standard gp prices are 60c/M, we'll even move it up to 65c. 10M for 65c = $6.50. An upgrade costs $7.95, so their are either losing money and giving out a great deal, or got the PINs in some illegal way. This would leave your account at risk for using the PIN and possible get it locked, which costs $20 to fix. A risk many people would not want to take.

I try to keep my prices as low as possible for the customers, but it is a business and I must make a small gain for each PIN sold to be worth my time. I stick by my prices and I make LOTS of sales all the time just fine. Many people don't mind at all paying a few extra mills for the 100% security I offer.

well you gotta consider price of gp/mil. Yoho's price is VERY fair.

Since it's a pin graphics, why not offer a free month to the winner?

So far this guy is in the lead.
It's just a template/incomplete and the text is just there as placeholder and changes need to be made etc, but basically if you don't think you can do better than this :p then don't try! (Just don't want anyone to waste their time is all!) HEEHE

Notes
- Background colour can be changed appropriately
- Text and font can be changed appropriately
- Can add more vouches if need be
- Could add a section for you describe the service (how many you've sold, how long for etc..)
- I spent 5 hours on this … literally … give me some feedback yeh?

So far the ones I'm highly considering are

Thoughts:

• Super minimal/clean/crisp looking
• Looks JUST LIKE a Jagex page would, which is awesome! Very nice job with that!
• It's just really nice all around!

Changes:

• I'd like if you cut the image horizontally into two, where the price is located (and remove the price). This way I can manually type the price into the forum itself and update the price as needed whenever I want without having to bother you. (I'd like if everyone could implement this somehow)
• I'd like if you left some room/added a place underneath each of the check-marked terms (Fast & Easy, Genuine, Safe, Pay with RSGP) in which I can expand/talk a little bit about each one. (talked about more below)
• The text for Upgrade Options and Upgrade Codes could be a bit nicer/fancier looking it's a bit plain right now.

Thoughts:

• Blends in with Sythe forums very well!
• Very nice job with all the text, good colors, eye catching, easy to read.
• Like in incorporation of little Runescape NPCs
• LOVE the idea to show a few vouches on the graphic itself (would be nice to link to (http://memberize.me/#feedback) to show the rest.
• Nice job with the separate sections and background for each one, looks nice.

Changes:

• The colors of text at very bottom section are a bit off/don't match well.
• It's very HUGE smaller would be nicer.
• As said above, would be nice if I could somehow edit the prices myself as needed. (Basically cut up image and leave room for me to just edit post and type it in)

So far I like Waglar's the best
But I really do love Abu and Koages too.

So I think Ill pretty much be choosing Waglarg's or MAYBE Koage based on the entries so far. His is closest to what I want and just rubs me the right way/tickles my fancy the most. Also because of this his will need the least amount of editing/work done to match what I want exactly (I just don't want to 'waste' people's time working so hard and then not getting anything D:)

D: I feel so odd in this situation! Asking you all to work hard on something for me, but in the end just choosing one winner and the hard work of the others will go unpaid for! D: I really really REALLY appreciate everything putting so much time and effort into this. If I had the funds I'd pay the 2nd and 3rd place $5 just for trying, and 1st place $15!

As I said before I feel really bad having people try so hard and not win D:, but don't give up! You can still take my suggestions and edit up what you have or enter if you haven't entered yet and try your luck out! You never know!

I personally like Waglar's. I would remove the prices like YoHoJo mentioned, and that's it. The Upgrade text matches the header and it all blends in nicely :)

Hmmmm, I'll make all the updates I guess and also remove the Sythe background, so it can fit into any forum.

For Waglars, you should also suggest moving the 'click for more details' to the bottom and separated from the main layout, so that it can actually be clicked and linked :)

I was making mine but I totally failed and once I saw some examples, I gave up because I can't beat that..

Your current graphic on sythe looks very clean.
I'd suggest changing the gem/shield colour beside the 30, 90, and 180 days just to differentiate between the 3 if you still plan on altering anything.

Also from a buyer's point of view, the pricing is difficult to notice in between all the graphics, I'd suggest enlarging the font, or bold/colouring it (just looked like default sythe info at first glance)

A note about your profile - having a good avatar really helps attract potential buyers

@above (sorry on phone dont want to scroll up) I totally agree and had that in mind already. My first though was to cut image into two and just type out in text on the forum my prices, that way I could update prices without havingto bug my graphics guy. The prices right now are just there as example/place holder. But I tried it out and it looked no good so I'm going to get him to make the prices in a nice noticeable style for me tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion I totally agree.

I can't access my PC because it won't boot, I'm stuck on my shit laptop on which I don't have Administrator privileges (no Simba).

The only way to fix my PC, is use the Windows Disc, enter a tool called Recovery Console and replace the corrupted file with an older stable version.

However doing this, will from feedback on various sites, 'remove all your files' and I have no backup.

Sounds like the boot file is corrupt? If so then no you won't lose anything. If you format/re-install windows then yes, you will.

Get Ubuntu on a USB drive, their website has tutorials on doing it properly. Then, you will insert the USB drive and boot the pc from USB. After it boots, there will be a menu where you can choose to install ubuntu and so on. If you choose the "try" option, it will let you access all the information on your harddisk and you can make a backup that way.

When you boot it doesn't say "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
<Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
Please reinstall a copy of the above file" by any chance?

The error is:

The registry cannot load the hive (file): \SystemRoot\System32\Config\SOFTWARE or its log or alternate

Do all the research you want. I'm not that big on computers so I just follow what tutorials say.
