SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

Hello everyone. As you probably know, I am and go by the name of Xtremities here. I am new as my post count is only one :) Wanted to create this thread for two reasons. To give everyone a background of what I do and who I am. I hope this doesn't count as spam. And if it is, I apologize in advance.

I play RuneScape regularly as a recurring member. I am level 93 and working on my melee skills. So that level will continue to increase. The evolution of combat beta is one thing I am looking forward and wonder if anyone else is as well.

One thing I'd like to say is that I have no scripting knowledge at all. I came here thinking I could just use this program and "Hey!", I just go on using it and not being supportive or helpful in anyway. Now, I have read through the rules in policies, I will do my best to be a part of this awesome community.

If I need some sort of scripting knowledge to be here, then I will kindly take my leave. If not, I would appreciate on how I could learn scripting or where to start on being a part of this community.

Welcome to SRL :D

There are a bunch of scripting tutorials in a subsection so you can check them out.

Go ahead and test out some of the scripts and enjoy yourself but set your self the task of learning how to give back :)

Welcome again and pm me if you need any help.

Sup… kitchen is around here somewhere. And down the hall to the left is the bathroom, enjoy your stay.

LOL welcome to SRL, were glad you could make it! You have just found out what is on the other side of the rainbow!

Of course I will. ^_^ It might take me a while. I'm a slow learner.

Thanks for the welcome Benny and Joe.

Welcome. Scripting is actually pretty easy. Take a shot at it!

I'm slow too but hey I've managed to dabble haha

I mean the hardest bit is getting Simba to work haha

Not mandatory to learn but it's good to learn so if any small problems at least you know some basics to make your own tweaks ;)

Good Luck and Welcome to SRL!

Cool. I remember like 12 years ago when I printed out the 10 page SCAR manual, I don't remembere if it was called SCAR back then, but I remember using ColdFeet to get that stupid fatigue captcha out of my way, and then mining guilding it on classic.. hahaha so long ago.
