Well here is the situation … I want to buy either a Nintendo Wii or a PC upgrade.

Wii will cost about 370 euro (buying some extra's etc.) and pc upgrade (nearly an entire pc) costs me 550 euro …

The problem is, im attracted to the Wii but i would also like to play new games on the PC in best quality …

My question, what would you do … ?

PC FTW!! I don't even have my own computer, I'd love on though.. :P

Pc, The Wii involves too much moving. If someone wanted to move like that,just go outside and play basketball or football with your friends. When I play games,I chill, Not get an excercise. So to revise on what I said…PC.

I voted for the Wii as there are some great games for it and it's cheaper then an upgrade :)

i vote Pc upgrade.

Me is thinking about Wii aswell… I mostly do scripting on it anyway and you could do that on 200Mhz…

Buy awesome PC. Run VM's on it. Save for Wii.

I played on my cousins Zelda, and I wasn't personally impressed.

Xbox360 fanboy for the win.

ps. my idea was to make 250 euro by selling scar scripts, so i could buy a wii, i did that by now, but now im having second doubts :)

It's a decision only you can make, you know deep down which one you prefer. Go for it.

you can do so much more with a pc!!!!! think about it this way… can you download cracked games for a wii? i dont think so… at least… i think… uh… pretty sure u cant… um… ask someone else… but yeah, cracked pc games ftw

Unless you already have a somewhat capable pc, and you really want a Wii.

I can download them, and yes i also want a modchip if i buy it ;)

The reason why i most likely will buy a wii is because all the things i do on my current pc (mainly scripting) goes fine on it. I dont need a faster PC for it. The only reason i would see to buy a PC upgrade is to play an occasional game with my brothers…

My current pc is fine except for its video card. But since its AGP and nearly all current ones are PCI i would have to update the entire shishkebab.

You can browse SRL-forums, script and run your scripts with your pc now. If you want to game, game on the Wii? ;)

game I like to sit down and not have to stand up and move all around like Buckley said. I

played some games on it at a friends house and you get tired after a while lol. I personally

like the xbox360, Halo and Guitarhero2 FTW!!! But you made a good decision :p

It also makes sure you dont play that much ;) my mom will love it :p

Games are costly and a waste of money in my opinion. Think back to your nintendo.. what you would of accomplished/bought with that money instead of playing games.. Or that one time where you played games 7 hours straight and ate while on pause and became a non social game addict for a few days (happens to everyone once don't lie!) you finish feel good that it's complete and then nothing at all except weight gain probably… Idk maybe it's just me, I'm sort of a health freak. I get sick of sitting around doing something on my ass all day. I'd much rather play tennis at the park or bball/bike in my yard anyday instead of pc/consul games..

Programming isn't a waste of life though ! You create and learn things, ordinary people wouldn't do. Plus you make money off of technology. lawl. :D
