I have been watching some of RuneSharks MineCraft videos and it looks like a fun game, but I don't really have any friends to play it with which seems like 3/4 of the fun. I'm just wondering if buying premium is going to be worth it since I can't play with others.
Do you play by yourself? and is it fun by yourself?

I play by myself. I like to explore, and not so much survive/ build things. I usually never play on the same world for more than a few days :p
That being said, I bought it when it was in alpha, so the price was much cheaper. I still recommend buying it, and finding a public server to play on with others that you don't really know.

Another question I had with Minecraft is that the website said it required 64bit Java, how would that affect Simba running? Would I have to change the path for the two different java versions I have running.

Minecraft is awesome and is totally worth the money! It really depends on what you like to do in Minecraft. I like to hunker down somewhere, mine the shit out of it, make it look neat, and then build awesome stuff. Logged so many hours alone that I'm embarrassed to say how many :o BUT playing with friends is usually even more fun.

I had borrowed a friend's account last summer, mining and such was fun at first but it seemed dull after a while. So I just raided people's servers. It's really fun when you pour a bucket of lava at the entrance of a tunnel with 20 guys in it. It was a whole lot better before they changed the TNTs though.

Hmmm, I must just have graphics settings wrong or something. Although that doesn't make sense, the game warned me that it runs better on 64bit java so I might need to install that, hopefully doesn't mess up botting!

Nvidia GeForce GT 555M
Should work on full settings (Players Skyrim fairly well at high).

Minecraft gets boring by yourself. find some people to play with :)
