SRL Archive - First Scripts

Howdy guys,
My first script I've made. Credits go to ~Alex~ and Me_ntal who helped me through the problems i encountered, as well as the people that made the tutorials that I used.

It fishes at Barbarian Village and banks it at Varrock West bank. It has a dropping function if desired.

Please post problems that happen as well as progress reports.

Hey man, this is really good for a first script.
Just a couple of things I could mention.

1. You will need to add anti-randoms.

2. Where you have HowManyPlayers := 6; //Do not touch unless using more than 6 players.
That is incorrect because hey will need to lower it if they are only using 1 or 2 players.

3. With your auto responder, the only greeting it used is "heya there" and "as if man", is there are a lot of people around, this could become very repetitive and hence giving you away that you are a bot, not hiding it :)

Other than that, its really dam awesome.

thanks for that man, i'll try to work on it. With number 2, I was under the idea that 6 players is always 6 no matter if they are active or not. I'll fix that up. I'll fix up those in the next release. Thanks buddy.

Why varrock? why not edgeville? it would reduce your chances of getting lost dramatically.

That is one HUGE bitmap… Try making it smaller? For walking, you could use FindRoadColor… instead of choosing the color…

This is a nice script for your first! Good job and keep up the good work!

Nice Job! This is pretty damn good for a first script

heck ya this is a wonderfull first script alot better than mine. He has radial walk and mutliplayer in that it took me a few tries to learn those and i still dont have radial walk completly learnt.

My first script is going to be one of these. Except better hopefully ;)

The script looks very good though. . .take me a long time to learn that much. . .

The script is outdated but it requires 20 fishing a fly fishing rod and feathers

Very good first script!

I recommend using some more failsafes in your walking so your beloved accounts wont get banned for "hanging" ;)

nice script, works but id rrather edge like someone said, but varrock is still good :) good job

Glood job, as some people have posted, Edgeville would have been nice.

But I can't complain, it's free and thanks a lot!
