Letting Go.

Those delightful, blissful moments we shared
Those moments in life which had no despair
To nothing else could our love be compared
To say it would end now, no one would dare
We said forever, you can not deny
I wish you would tell me, why did you leave?
I wanted a chance, just to say goodbye
But why you left, I still can not perceive
Was it something else? Just someone better?
What could it have been, Looks? Money? Power?
When away, would he write you a letter
If you were in trouble would he cower?
All this clutter will be erased by dawn
I now know I must surrender what’s gone
