Welp, I guess I'm done with Runescape. Hacked for 150m today. Not saying I blame this site, but this is the only place I lurk around. Whoever the pixel-hungry person was, they got it. Enjoy your life, as I'll do the same! Sad to say bye, as I actually enjoyed scripting for this community, oh well. Thanks everyone for the awesome experience!

post the script you've been using and we can check them if they are clean or not.

No only simba, riwusdomdags. And no, I'm not blaming him. I managed to get a suspicious IP address from council bluffs, iowa though.

Use the ZMI script to get 99 runecrafting and make all that money back ez.
Its what I did. Now up to 250m+ with both 99 prayer and 99 smithing banked. + 99 herbalore (used a script to make attack potions and basically got it for free)

This is a comeback from a 600m lost.

No really it's not worth it. It's happened like.. 15 times now. Don't want to continue playing, but I have the hackers info. Should be plenty.

Well thats too bad. Really shouldnt let this person win but its your choice after all.

I was recently hacked for 120m, but I didn't think to get a shot of the IP; I'll never get to see any justice for it. In response I made myself a F2P PK'er and sold the account that got hacked for 160m. I got started up again.

If you take this as your sign to quit RS, I can support that. It's always sad to see someone go, but good luck with whatever you decide to do.

P.S. If you need a new time sink, pick up a copy of Dark Souls. It's out on the 360 and PS3 now, and is scheduled for the PC in August I believe.

My script is hosted at googlecode (open source), u can check all the past revisions.

Go to ur simba folder, and open the "settings.xml", search "security" and u should be able to find all the websites that u have allowed simba to access. Also all legitimate scripts should not have any data being sent out (other than srl stats), only data sent in, im not sure if the difference can be detected?

I'm no expert on the subject, but if it's happened multiple times then I would imagine it's someone who has most, if not all, details of your account. Previous passwords, recoveries, maybe access to your email? I'll tell you right now, Simba/SMART/Scripts aren't capable of this. The only things some scripts would require is your name/password/PIN #; that's all.

You might have some malicious programs on your computer.

No Riwu, As I said, I have no intentions it was you. As you can tell from the OP, I have the IP, the screenshot of it and everything.
Sidenote: Is there anyway a mod can search villavu for the matching IP? I'm just curious.

Unfortunate to see another one get hacked. Grinds my gears that people do this type of thing. All the hard work you put in just gone because of some selfish nub. Sad to hear and I wish you the best of luck in doing whatever with your life. Sad to see an account go to waste. Even more sad to know a valuable member of SRL is leaving because of this.

Well just try to clarify. Just pm a mod and he can search the ip for u.
What Flight mean is that he has almost all ur past account info, so he can just recover ur account through the main RS "forget ur password" option (im not sure if this can still be done if u have a registered email?), so even if u change ur pw and clean ur virus he can just recover anytime via jagex. If this is really the case u probably have to write to jagex customer support or sth.

Also CCleaner/virus scanner etc cannot remove RATs, the only way to ensure that ur computer is really clean is to reformat it. U may be stucked with a RAT that u thought u had removed it when in fact, it is stucked with u throughout ur 15 times.

Sorry for the late response, what can be done? Of course he won't respond. I've been trying to trying to teach him all about scripting and all he's done is leech off of me. Please do something..

Right now I have nothing to do, and I don't want to run money-making scripts and be a gold-farmer. I actually enjoyed the game, played it legit most of the time too. Now that I have nothing, I can't even go to a simple bandos event with my clan with the chaotics and stuff he dropped. Simply quitting if nothing can be done.

Sorry for the double post, but yes. As I think I've mentioned. 'Ebertowski' was a leech toward me, I wrote him a private script. And I think I might have. Does this give him the right to hack me though? Sure it was my fault, but that's not justice.

It was Ebertowski, not riwu. He did nothing, as I'm still planning on using his script for maxing if I can come up with some cash to buy a whip/armor/prayer potions.

On topic: Admins, still nothing has been done. And i'm really frustrated. Neither you or jagex is helping me. This 13 year old kid gets a free 100m+.. freaking ridiculous.
