I was banned back in 2004 for the huge mass ban that took out nearly 1k accounts at the time that was autoing… Wasn't nearly as crazy as it is today with people running around with gold farming accounts….


Anyhow I filed for my appeal nearly 5 months ago and no one ever got back to me so I figured it was worth a shot to email customer support to ask them to take a look at my report.

I just find it 100% bull shit that people get caught autoing now a days and get second, third and I even hear 4th chances…Back then it was bam your banned; appeal? AUTO DENIED! I just don't understand the difference between now and then…. The only thing I notice is; back then there was about 1,000 of us who did it….We didn't run 20 accounts we just ran our pures / mains and used AR to auto catch… Now you have people messing up market prices, not only is it messing up the prices but its giving people who actually play legit no real way to survive in the game due to expensive items but no real way to make money unless you run 5+ accounts…

So you have veteran players who are leaving and you have the economy at near crisis due to crashing prices…But hey they're giving chances out to people because they are needing the funding to be able to support their upgrades to keep people happy but can't control the mass production of gold farmers killing a percentage of the game that I think really matters…

This is the reason why I am super glad money don't grow on trees other wise there would be no value to life.

Yeah I had an account banned back in 2006, only botted like 2-3hours and the next day insta perm banned.

Not sure what factors contribute to giving you a second chance or third or w/e.
Also dont quite understand difference between minor and major.

Mine was apparently major, but it was alching. Hows that major?

Well I'd think the only reason they'd not allow me to be unbanned is because of the phats that are on the account… I was one of the biggest RSC stakers;

So let me ask how is RSC now? I kind of miss the RSC PB days….or just in general with flats tagging, pray alter fights… RSD wars back in the day were always the best.

I had 45m and a santa hat on the banned account in 2006.

I have heard people getting their accs unbanned. Why not try? It doesn't hurt and if you do get it, its awesome.

Good luck , I found my 5 year old account unbanned. It was banned for credit card fraud. I didn't appeal or anything I just logged onto it and it had 3 letter name ;)

I had an account called "BWT" Never botted… permabanned. They had no proof of anything. Ignored all appeals with auto replies… the customer service said I couldn't have it back

A couple years ago one of my accounts got banned aswell and since then that has been the only ban. Botted woodcutting for just 2 days and 10 hours total and it got banned already. You would expect Jagex to advance even more but the bans have only become less common over the years. And even if you get banned you will just get banned for 14 days so yeah..

Good luck on your account! One of my accounts got banned back in 2003, I had been botting and Real World trading 8 times too many times and Fagex finally lowered the boom. :/
