Guild Smelter Hybrid
Last Script Update: date not kept any more… auto updating
SCRIPT FORMS UPDATED FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
ok update my scirpt so you get hybrid 1.6.1
run hybrid 1.6.1
always allow it to access all files..
script will stop it self when it sets up the files and ask you to restart script.
restart it and set up the settings.
make sure to save the settings.
Setting will never be deled unless you del the cfg file(s) or overwrite the save.

enter your auth and get to the main forms… from there click more.. then click update… check where you saved hybrid 0.5 and look for hybrid (version goes here).

I think I'm gonna have to study this code a bit…

On line 320, wouldn't it be better to use MakeCompass('n'); then perfect it? By spinning the screen for a few seconds, you might be getting the compass way off…
You could also have it hold down the arrow key until it finds the north bitmap:

I updated the hybrid.
now faster and better mining.(also fixed 3 bugs i personally found.)
better location detection.
uses makecompass now.
Currently:
adding forms.
Adding Auto updating proc.
(any suggestions)

I would try it out but I need to raise the combat level of my army so they don't look suspicious in the guild. I like the idea though, looks like a major money maker. One thing, could you possibly release a regular fally smelter so that people who need to raise their army up enough to smelt Steel could do so? I guess Ill try out some of the al kahirid ones but my army is mainly based in the falador area for various reasons.

one problem i had, was that the script went down into the guild flawlessly… then it screwed up. It clicked the rock wall west of the ladders. Any idea why? Is it the script, or me?

the script.. i fixed that problem in the next version…
soon to be out but it freezes ecery 5 loads and needs to be restarted…..
I got the guild walk way to complicated.. ill simplify it later…
but im tryin to fix the part where it freezes every 5-10 loads….
looks like when i open the bank but its not…. cant be.. mabye im making it load the bitmaps and dtms more than onje time,

ya its easy to get a profit from this… i gave my guy 200k for training and picks.
and i already got 7k coal from my hybrid.
from one guy.. not banned yet.

Hey,
Bug…
If your in the guild and its just about to click on the rock, but as it does the ore is mined by someone else. You dont get a message
You Swing or No ore.. blah blah
Thus scripts sits doing nothing for a while…

maybe once you click a rock do Flag; so you know your at the rock… then if after like 5 seconds if you don't get a Swing message then move on to a new rock. If you don't do that already.

Hmmm, found a wierd error. Walking and everything is great, but when it starts mining, it only clicks on 1 rock even though there are a lot of rocks around. It clicks on the same even though there's no ore in it :(

Some bug reports :D
Smelting:
-Sometimes it misclicks, here are some examples I found
*Accidently clicks on Withdraw All on the Iron ores, then moves to smelter b/c it thinks it withdrew everything
*Sometimes it misclicks on Coal (clicks on bank space instead), then moves to smelter because it thinks it withdrew all of the Coal
*It missed clicking on the Steel bar icon when you're smelting…it thought I was smelting the whole time when in fact I wasn't…so I got logged out after a minute and I was just standing there

nothing is working.. smaller dtms…

What specific dtms do you need? Of the ores? Then get the black outline of them. Then, to distiguish the difference between them, find a color inside the dtm. If you dont understand, i can explain it in mroe detail.

well i will just keep working on it today i know i can get it.
and i even checked obvious errors like not loading the dtm before searching for it… not using the right coords….

i fixed it the bank was being closed before it searched for the dtm…
made the dtms more acc.. now working on finding the furnace with percision.
no problem i think i got this covered still…
the reason being i dont want help is i really want to see how far i can get into this script with no help :). (beside using SRL which minimizes my work XD)

I just downloaded and ran 0.6.3. I set the # of guildtrips to 0 and smelting trips to 4000 on the form. It opens the bank, then clicks on the Run Icon, Inventory, and Logout buttons while it's still in the bank screen.
I'll change the number of trips and see if it still gets stuck
EDIT: Well I just added WithDrawSmelt to HybridSetup and another place and it works fine now. The only problem I can see is that sometimes it withdraws other items. Like I was watching it and instead of withdrawing coal it withdrew my mime legs :(
EDIT #2: Ok I got it working almost perfectly now, all it does wrong now is occasionally misclick. Like it misclicked on the steel bar in the Smelting window and thought it had clicked it, so it just sat there waiting until it logged out. Also it miscounts the number of bars deposited. It was perfect on the first run, then on the second one it only withdrew 5 iron ores and the rest were coal ores. So it smelted those and the proggy said I had 18 smelted bars when I infact only had 15.

working on it.
i keep changing the dtms.. because they match other items.. looks like ima have to make bmps… dang </3 bmps… or i can make an extremly details dtm :p
the proggy goes by multiplying 9 to the number of trips you make…(hint hint you usually make 9 bars per trips.)
so ya working on it…
so far all im getting is that my script misclicks….
but walking and everything is like perfect.. no problems.

Ok I got it working even better than before. It double checks the smelter misclicking thingy so it always smiths 10. It was running for a long time but I somehow got an error saying that it couldn't detect compass angle :( –was standing in front of the furnace and logged out when I came back to check.
Other than the wierd compass thing it would have ran for a long time =/
I can PM you the changes I made if you're interested. Considering I don't know how to code anything, I'm happy I made it work lol :D

i edited there version of findpick
and made it
findpick(equipted : True);
this way it will fix the pick if it is unequipted or equipted.
very nice fix.
and my gas finding is perfect i havent had qa broken pick in forever.
and i havent lost a pick head in a while.

Don't know if v1.1 is the latest version, but it works really great. The only major problem is that its really really slow (7 loads in 1hr 30mins). I think it can run overnight, didn't try it though

Wow bet you never heard this before, but i ended up in the dwarven mine. I think it opened the door from the guild to the drarven mines and wandered around..hmm, probably will never happen again but just saying.
EDIT: Very suspicious probably to jagex that it clicks the equipped items game tab EVERY time it mines a rock. maybe there is another way you can check for a broken pick?Like for example if it says "You do not have a pickaxe to use"… i might have no idea what im talking about :s but just making suggestions.

ya i made that quickly i already have it to check the text with it but theres a problem.
if the second time it finds no ore in the area it will run and find a new rock…
and then it will search for the pick but it will not be on the main screen.
plus ive been using it for a while no ban yet… so I prefer the tab so i do not break a pick.
i will make an option though.

lol the script is having a hard time telling the diffrence when you mined coal and if you mined mith thanks for the report ill be sure to fix it.
also use more than one player at a time.
if you keep autoing like this u will get banned i auto on one char yes but i do it while i can watch it go.
(i play h3 / h3 will i watch it)
you get less randoms
you get 5-100x less chance of getting ban with multiplayer.
and you may miss out on about 28 coal in 24 hours of striaght mining with multi players… so what.

and now it can tell the diffrence between what it mines now so very accurate reports.

i was able to get to lvl 80 - 81 mining before getting banned and i did half as short as your doing and im warning you.
it is stupid to auto on one acct.
i did it cause i was testing the script and making the script.
i got teh guild miner working and im on to the smelter.
don't flame me for releasing a script freely to you.
And yes it has multi players if you read instructions.
as hard as it may sound i can easily make this script disappear off your computer and make it look like you never even had it.

I get this error after a load (it finds the bank , opens it) but then it doesn't store the coal. It repeats finding the bank :s

hint hint ram i got a lvl 40 combat 10 hours a night 3-5 days a week for 3 months to mine and got lots off him before he got banned. :)
so i made a new army and currently Power lvling them up in mining they are all around lvl 40 combat whyich i know is not high enough but worked good last time :p
( also i do not recommend that XD! )
plus my script does not require you to smith at all ram :p
you can do ether or seperatly or together!
but if you look… my scirpts a total mess i might have to remake it :\.
hope the mining still works.

I really like the idea of Hybrid scripts, training different skills in the same session, also, you took the time to make it, so I might as well utilize all aspects of it …..Don't tell Fakawi, but I've been raping 1 version or another of his COWZ scripts for the last 6 months, but seeing I run so many characters on it in 1 line up, usually any 1 character only logs in 2-3 times a day…my girlfriend just made me a bunch of range armor, so I have been training range on them now just for combat levels….It's been very slow going, but now is the time it starts to pay off, having so many players, that are 50+ combat, I look forward to being able to utilize the same principles I have been, not get greedy and just let them take their time doing what they do best :)…No bans since I started doing it the "right way"…*knock on wood*
Also, I've found, even if you're low combat, dress them up with whatever they can wear…full mith/addy, small sacrifice if they die…Most of mine all have at least 1 piece of trimmed or god armor as well…Oh, and don't forget 'AutoResponding", best insurance their is…My gf's quote.."People ask East, and my Characters answer West", but at least they are answering…I really should make a video, some of the conversations are hilarious…..I have more fun just watching them talk, then I ever did playing the game
and BTW, I wanted to try Double Posting just 1 time to see what it felt like :f:

Funny story…Yeah, we actually met in RS…my son turned me onto the game back in RSC, but i didn't have much interest in it then, then RS2 came out, and I thought it was pretty cool….Her nephew showed her the game, and as a single mom, she played it in the evenings….we just happened to cross paths, and started talking from there…..started talking on MSN…she moved in with me (USA) from Europe, but she hated it here, so she went back after about 6 months….I'm planning on moving there, but I won't be able to until this winter…because of the time difference (6 hours), we are rarely on the comp at the same time…She hated it when I started macroing….We both took the game pretty seriously, reported all the levl 3's etc, but then I realized what a crock of shit it really is (Jagfex)….Recently,We both got our mains banned, and I quit actually playing the game, and now just Auto to give her and my kids stuff…She comes here to read up, but she doesn't quite understand all of it, but she still gives me stuff for the army…she bought my first army of 6 all Full Black (g) armor just so they would look cool ( I <3 my baby :) )

Just a small test, actually did 1 more trip, but i guess i stopped it before t updated proggy…
1st trip it ended up to the north and tried mining the rocks
outside the door , 2nd trip was better, found the mith rocks fine, but didn't seem to mind trying to mine them even if they were smoking :rolleyes:…didn't have a chance to test the smelter yet, as I haven't got a decent one working that I can leave going overnight to level all these guys, but I feel confident in using this for mining coal no problem..well, once I tweak it with the responder and all…..I'll post back later, once I finally get them all situated.

Question: I was in the process of testing this some more before the update, and added to the player array..then received a few errors, but I didn't want to hack your script apart to much……."If I make changes in the script, will it automatically revert back to the original when it is updated" ?….I'm guessing yes…can you add a few more spaces to the array…20 should be sufficient :rolleyes:

Well, I do tweak every script I use, not always to my advantage though :redface:, but I try to post what worked and what didn't, but I don't like to give specifics, because I have found most people have their own ways of doing things, and a mere hint is sufficient enough for them to make the changes needed, if they want to……My main goal is…to use 12-24 characters per script, thus logging in 2-4 times a day, 6-12 hours apart, 30 minutes each session…even if the script isn't that stable, with this many characters, I can just shut the monitor off and not mess with it for at least a day…
Although the changes I have made, benefit me, Dark has taken the time to put his auth system in this, for his own reasons ;), so his willingness to make these changes now will benefit even more people :)

well then you guys better be happy i did add in my function that detects when you tweak it and ask you to put in a pass code that i give to some people to allow editing of my script and if your passcode is wrong i could instantly lock the script from use and you would have to redownload it.
this was incase i wanted to release in free scripts… same with the auth… so i could lock leechers out…
if you check out my sig you will now find how far i have gotten in my new script making.
lol when i release GSH 2 it will be so much easier to read + like 100 x smaller with more efficiency.
this script may not be out fast enough for ram.
but when its released i intend it to be my best coded script.
I just might blow your minds with what im going to do XD.
and bob I will make it easy to edit my script.
and expect almost complete control over my script with vars i will but in const or my forms.
i mean like control of almost everything but the backbone of the script which is… walk to guild … walk out… bank… check to see if it should switch players or go smelt…. walk to smelter walk back. and check stuff again…

Very nice, as for tweaking, just sometimes you find something that you can fix and you do. I don't think I have found anything with your script yet but I haven't run it much.

Not yet ;), but I've only run it a few times for a few minutes each so I'm hardly one to judge.
Well, depends if I run it on one of my slow computers, I always have to end up increasing waits or adding extra ones..and adding little things, like respond here and there ;)….mining mith is nice…smelting it would be nicer ;)…..um, I've suggested this before to other people, but a "scavenger option", finding stuff on the ground..ores and seeing most gems are worth more than the ores, I don't understand why people drop them (other than to save bank space or can't be bothered selling)

maybe bronze bars latter on.

walking:
Walks to guild using 2 random paths.
walks back form guild using 2 random paths.
walks to smelter using road and furnace symbol.
walks back to bank using road and bank symbol.
only loads bitmaps and dtms needed no extras.
adding in a scavanger option.
always gets up to a booth before searching for the booths to insure acc and speed of finding the bank.
pretty much it so far…
