Hey guys I'm thinking of going for 99 smithign can anyone give me any advice?
I'd like to super heat my rune bars; could anyone suggest a very stable super heat scritp? I'm going to currently look up how many runebars I'll need to make and see what it costs to make and sell the bars.
EDIT: 104k rune bars needed

So this is what I come up with… 10.7k per rune ore. 215 per coal, it takes 8 coals and 1 rune ore per bar. Its 1,720 for the coal & 10.7k for the rune ore its a total of 12,420 for the rune bar to make. Then lets add 120gp per nature rune to smelt thats now 12,520 per bar and I can sell each Rune bar for around 13k-13.2k that isn't to bad.

Or you can smith addy plate bodies to 99 xD I'm not sure if it's as cheap as it was a few weeks ago but you can give it a try :P

no use leetz superheater! its wayyyy faster than teh's and just as stable. Ive smithed thousands of mith bars with it with no probs

Wouldn't smithing gold bars be the cheapest way?
Gold ore are very low… getting from 92-99 will only cost ya around 10m…
I will be getting 99 smithing soon from 63. Will need to make 225k gold bars and will cost me only 25m.

i'd need 98k gold ores, its roughly 22.2m then when you sell it back its roughly a 12m loss…But over all this is the method I'll be doing! Can anyone tell me where I can buy my gloves?

You need to complete the quest family crest. After, go to Avan at Al Kharid mines. He's by the entrance of it. Make sure you have 25k to change the gloves too xD

I'm 138cb; I've just died with them long ago and never went to recover a new pair…
Any hoot once I get this 98 herb level which I'm only 200k away I'll start buying my gold ore and sell back all the rune ore and coal, lol.

Don't think it's cheaper :P You're just paying more for faster exp/hour and magic exp :P
But yea if you need your magic up as well, super heat gold ores with gaunlets xD

I superheated gold, then every day i was tradeing my gold bars to my other toon to craft them into emerald rings then enchanting them. it ends up being a slight profit, not much though.

You can't smelt a full inventory at once. It can only be done one at a time.

Everything is smelted one at a time. I don't know why you think gold would be any different.

Let me explain it a lot better for you guys…….
It smelts 1 ore then banks the 1 ore and grabs another gold ore and smelts that 1 gold ore and then banks that bar to get another ore…
AGAIN it smelts 1 ore then banks the 1 bar to get another ore…What am I doing wrong?
I'm not a idiot; I know I didn't set the script up wrong I literally been sitting here for a hour going line by line to see what the hell I missed and I can not figure it out.
heres what I get….
Failed Rune withdraw.. Depositing everything
Bars still remaining must only be one bar
Found 27 Main Maker Ores, 0 Coals and 27 Bars
Successfully withdrawed Ores required for making bar, Closing bank..
Anyone want to go on Teamviewer to help me out?

Yeh, Gold bar's are the best Xp I've heard but Steel and Mith are better profit.
I might update my Super Heater as well soon, I've gotten much much better at coding since then. <3

This was done (by me) using Teh's superheater, with gold bars and goldsmithing gauntlets.
I've never totally understood why people want to get smithing level… its a money pig.
But if you wanted a good script for it, I would go with tehq's. I did some sweet sweet magic with it and got some nice smithing XP. The picture by blackfang vouches well.
Just make sure you SET IT UP PROPERLY!!!! I cannot stress that enough.

I can also vouch for tehq's xD It's flawless and I've ran multiple times for 6 hours and never had a problem xD Got me some good smithing levels, so if leetz's isn't working for you, you can always try tehq's. :)

Surprisingly, addy plates are cheaper than gold bars (superheating). Addy plates are like 4gp/xp now, and like 150k an hour, much better than golds 3gp/xp when not superheating and 4.8gp/xp when.

The thing to remember here though is that superheating gold also gives very good magic xp, and for only a little more cost-wise than addy plates.
