It works by making your brain slow down. It ain't gonna help ya in the future such as uni. But if you REALLY need to cram instead of going on facebook then 2 pill (8 hours apart makesure you eat) MIGHT be able to help.

WARNING you do get pretty dependent on this and some time you can go crazy without it. So don't take it in the long run. We take it because we physically can't focous, yall normal people can focous you just don't try to…. So taking adderal is just another stop during your procrastination journey.

I have already used it a few times. I understand the physiology of adderall and how dependant you can become on it. Just wondered if anyone else uses it or does something else to benefit them for school.

I just started using it after I was diagnosed with ADD (Attention-only ADHD). Unfortunately it was after I graduated from HS getting straight C's since I never did the work but did well on tests. It was like a complete 360 once I started taking it. Went from working 2 hours a day and staring for 6, to working 8-10 hours a day and not even thinking about time.

I have been looking into nootropics lately though. Not only are they legal, but they are 100% natural. Check em out! Specifically Alpha Brain. It's supposed to be comparable to Adderall but it's not a stimulant, so it's like 10x better for your health. I'm thinking about switching over, but it's still rather expensive…

I hope you are not saying that they are healthy just because they are "natural".
On topic, I think those stuff should be only used when you really need it, ie. you have a final in two days and know nothing.

Erm, I don't know why you've got "natural" in quotes. The main ingredients are already in the human body. One being in the cell membrane of neurons, and the other an amino acid. But either way:

Compared to adderall, which is essentially government sanctioned [insert illegal stimulant here] in controlled doses for profit, I'd say you could call it healthy. I do agree that it should only be used when necessary though. Unfortunately that seems to be 80% of the time when you've actually got ADD.

I've only taken adderall once, to write a final which I had procrastinated on. Worked good, I just sat down and wrote like 6 mini essays in one 6 hour session. In the long run Main is definitely right, another stop on the train of procrastination.

I just got prescribed adderall about 2 months ago, and I'm a junior in college. I wish I had it a long time ago. I only take it when I'm going to be in class or something, I don't take it on the weekends or anything. Honestly, I hate that it works. I was hoping it wouldn't work and I could finally tell my mom I just procrastinate and should just get better at doing things and not wasting time, but it really works, and I guess because I really have ADD.

But yeah, like I said, I hate that it works for me…I don't want to become dependent on it. Other than that, it's great and I highly recommend it if you truly have ADD. It really does help me focus like I've never felt before.

If you don't have ADD, adderall has the opposite effect on you and will make you hyper.
You may as well just take a stimulant and focus that way (ex: coffee)

Amphetamine (Adderall) is a stimulant, and a powerful one at that. Before taking any drug you should thoroughly research it's effects in both the long and short term. Wikipedia is good for citations, and pubmed has many journals with free abstracts. crazymeds.us or erowid.org are also very useful.
