So yeh, any way we could get the Form Editor from Scar onto Simba?
It's a very nifty tool that can certainly improve the standards of any script and I think not enough scripts utilise forms.
Having said that - will this be allowed without breaking any copyright rules?

I agree on this, however it is quite easy to make a form without it, a form editor may take more time to make than it would save…
Forms might become more used as well if smart 7.1 because you wont need smart manager :P

How so?
I mean that I don't know how much it would save on time, and would be a lot of effort to make, if we could get the one from scar that would be great, but if you want to make one feel free :)

Btw I answered your question on your other thread, but was scar even open source?
I support the creation of a form editor :)

as far as i know the one that is in the recent versions of SCAR cost him money, and i feel like the original one did too (though much earlier and im not completely sure). So if im correct, you wouldnt be able to just use them. I'm sure one could be made, but i agree with the fact that its usually easier to make one without an editor, and it usually results in better forms to do so. For example, i would almost always have relative positions of most of my things (self.x := mainForm.width - self.width - 10) which the form editor wouldnt be able to reliably do for you. Also they generally generate a lot of junk code.
EDIT: and for some things like menus (if simba supports them) it is kind of hard to visually create them like that in an editor.
