What would you say is the most reliable and safest way off walking?

im currently using sps as it was easy to get started with but what is really the best?

SPS is definitely the "safest" in the sense that it's precise, but it does have issues occasionally. Your other options are:

- ObjDTM walking: I haven't used this, but it seems to work very well. It's very precise. Check out euphemism's tutorial for this.

- DTM walking: Very good, but can be hard to make a working DTM path for some areas. It is also very susceptible to color changes. Check out DemiseScythe's tutorial for this.

- RadialWalking: Fairly reliable. Your whole walk path could be messed up by a single click, so I wouldn't consider it "safe".

You can always use one of the other methods as a backup in case SPS doesn't succeed.

that would be a very sensible way off doing it to be honest im going to give custom maping a go and see the crash rate off that first, then go from there

I use custom SPS minimaps for just about anything and I for one can tell you its extremely accurate and NEVER messes up

I have a tutorial below, and can help you with making a map there is a request link at the top of the thread in the sig.
