I've had this idea in a while and I planned to code it myself to present it afterwards. I decided to concentrate on the random solver, so I will just explain my idea.
I saw another thread about an auto talker that used an own database to get the answers.
I think that is the point one should change, to get an "intelligent" auto talker.
This is the idea:
We could code an AutoTalker by using cleverbot.com as database.
Why cleverbot?
"Cleverbot was judged to be 59.3% human." This means they had conversations like human-human and human-cleverbot and they had to decide which one is cleverbot.
Cleverbot is learning and I guess if it gets some RS related questions it will learn to respond like a legit RS player.
Just go ahead and type some text you would type to test if someone is using a bot. I tried things like "hello bots ;)", "lvl?" and "u are a bot".
How to code this?
I thought about using nilsies Appa for Simba (thx for this one :) ).
The script could open a new window (=session) for each conversation. It has to decide if it should answer ofc, but it could just answer randomly for the first time.
The script could count the players and answer 100% if there is only one there or if a player is saying the botters name.
I have no idea if this would work, but I don't see why not.
Note: "Conversational access is granted only to humans using this Cleverbot.com interface directly"
I don't know if this might be a problem, but it isn't illegal to "hijack" the answers from cleverbot, is it?
