I Just made an RS account, and its like, i'm muted, i thought i must have typed in the wrong age, but just in-case, i created another, with the age 28, and still muted? i even went through the tut. and still nothing? any suggestions, or am i dumb?

i smell an ip mute, do you use auto talkers or have you had major amounts of mutes on your ip?

Additionally it may be a thing to prevent autotyper gold sellers for a bit, you may have to wait like a week or so?

Ive never used an auto typer, nor would i need one, this is wierd..
EDIT: i've only been muted once, around a year ago, because i cussed at a player moderator..
EDIT 2: wow, i don't know how this could be, but i went to lobby, and back in, and it fixed, it :facepalm:

that would be no reason for an ip mute, i've had more than you have and im fine ;)
this makes me think you have to do the new tutorial before you can talk, to stop people making accounts then running straight to varrock to spam, try completing the tut on an account and tell us what happens then :)

well, glad you got it sorted one way or another, whether it was us or the panicking jagex mod who realized he'd muted all new accounts
(whilst that was happening he spilled his coffee right next to his terminal, giving you just enough time to post here before he fixed it) ;)

then do public quickchat
say something with the quick chat
they enjoy speaking and adving

when u make a new acc turn off tutorial then go where u wana go then log in and out and it solves the muted problem , np
