Macroing Major and Minor

I've had an account get banned before when using epic bot for chopping yews. It was my fault i was semi-suiciding. :duh: Anyways, it only got banned for 2 weeks under a macroing minor offense. I read though of people getting perm banned on macroing major offenses. I'm just wondering, what do u have to be banned for to get a macroing major offense compared to a minor?
I'm not exactly sure, I'm guessing it could be on how many times you've gotten a temp ban.
Like I think it starts with a minor for the first time, and then major on the second, and then I'm guessing it's reset or permed?
Things have changed, like before you could do BAR (buy your banned account back FTP jagex), but I think they stopped that.

Haha I'm embarrassed to admit this but i actually got banned twice in a little over a month but have managed to stay under the radar since ;) But both times it was a minor, the 1st, as i said chopping yews, and the second time i was f2p and was powerchopping willows west of the citadel camp.

I'm guessing multiple bans=macroing major=perm ban xD

I have 2 macroing minors on my account, but in order to receive the minor ban you have to be member. And even if you are member you still have a big change of getting a perm-ban.

Yeah, they only give permanent bans to F2P. Members get minor bans because Jagex wants to keep their MONEY.

The way I see it, If you are a member and you aren't botting something crazy profitable, they will most likely not ban you or only give you a minor ban.
Generally if you are a f2p player doing any sort of money making, it's usually a perm. That's what I have found throughout my botting life.

I think;
Minor Macro: normal skilling
Major Macro: Gold Farming!

But when my second ban happened i was f2p as a mentioned before, so why not perm banned? just because i was power shopping?

woodcutting is a number #1 ban skill, especially if you do it at draynor village.

I was powerchopping the willows west of the citadel camp. No one ever there.

well what im trying to say is that if you powerchop "willows", theres a really high chance of getting banned/caught.

Where do you guys get your info? I have 3 botting accs f2p, two got banned before, both minor. One failed 3 randoms in one day, don't know about the other.

I have also observed the same thing. Money makers get banned fast.

Used to have a botfarm of 60 accounts. I bot at SorcGarden, a hotspot for bots to get banned. Whenever I get banned, its usually minor. The first time you get 7 days, second time 14 days, then 21 days, then perm, that's how it is if I remember correctly. But sometimes, not high chance though, I get perm ban straight. Once was 40 accounts, the other 20 were safe, idk why. And another time was 60 accounts perm.
And the funny part is, when my membership ran out for 3-7 days, I usually get perm too.

Wow how on earth did you manage 60? VPS?

Dedicated servers. I believe VPS are dedicated server that made into smaller parts. Costs me $145 per month after negotiate with the owner, got myself 3 dedicated servers per month.
Well, not recommending anyone to do this though. Very very risky to maintain things, and lose money sometimes if not maintained well. Especially when I lost all 60 accounts and not utilizing those servers for around 2 weeks.
My laptop can only have 2 bots max LOL.

Within 48 hours of starting, fuck that terrible script I'm using RS bot in a $2 pure I made, if they ban it so what but I'm suiciding up to 90 range and I'm at 81 already after 3 days so I think I'll get it.

I got one temp banned for macroing then two more after that when I was playing legit.. pissed me off, last one resulted in a one year ban. When it was up i logged in for a few days then was manual perm banned by a mod… Still confused about the whole situation.

I used to bot casually on RSC, always at the computer and for only 2 hours a day or less. That led to getting myself a Major Macroing ban.
