SRL Archive - RS3 Script Requests

My final exams end on next Monday, so I will have time to script from there on. I need some fresh ideas on my next script, need to improve my scripting skills as well. I was planning to do Waterfiends killer or a Slayer bot, but I heard about the combat update.

I know this community don't support goldfarming that much, but I'd most likely will be working on money making scripts, would like to make money off some goldfarming methods. I'm not living in the US, at my place, we don't get paid high. McDonalds pays $0.8 USD per hour. And I don't get much pocket money from my parents. So I needed some extra cash for my uni life.

Any ideas but dung are welcome. Please give brief description and the requirements needed.

Wİlderness runite miner
85 mining needed, lower the combat better so that others can't attack you.
You could just make it hop worlds, searching for rune. Logging out with full inventory/desired amount of ores would be the best because there's a high chance of death upon returning, and walking in the wildy is hard.

Perhaps make and air orb charger.

Start in edgeville bank with air staff equipped and cosmics in first inv slot.
run down through the dungeon and past the black demons, up the ladder then charge the unpowered orbs into air orbs. then home tele back to edgeville, walk to the bank and repeat. Roughly 755gp profit per orb charged.

Requirements -
66 magic
Decent agility would also be beneficial

That's interesting. I'll put it in my list while getting my mining level up.
But I'm sure there are legitters that does this, not to mention botters too. Is it hard to find a world that has runite rock not mined yet?

I have thought about this and went to the GE for a check. I guess I don't like methods that depends on the GE. This is something like a dhide tanner, you calculated and you thought you would make 400k an hour, but when you sell the item, price went down, sometimes made a loss, sometimes earned a little, sometimes earn a lot.

But I'll still put this in my list. Thanks for suggesting! :D

Not really. I use a scout while legitting it, my scout always finds a world every 2-3 hops and my miner doesn't wait at all, by the time the mining is finished my scout already finds a world.

(not to discourage CephaXz from doing this, but currently Fires are best cash/hr) and not to thread hijack or anything either, but i have a fire/water orb charger out somewhere (if you want it youll need to do a little searching. :D) but it requires 80 agility atm. without 70+, its slow cash. Also, Much safer than Airs (assuming you have an antifire shield and some antipoisons if less than 127)
And… one last thing. Eventually i plan to expand it to Airs/Earths.

Back on topic here… http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68653 has tons of ideas. One i saw on there that would be awesome would be a defender collector. you can never have enough dragon defenders. :D plus its pretty good xp. if you could even make it into an AIO warrior's guild, that would be pretty neat.

Woodcutting/Fletching - Blisterwood Trees then Fletching logs into Blisterwood Stakes

Req's - Completion of "Branches of Darkmeyer" Quest along with a hatchet.

This tree is in a safe non combat area, so no risk of death. The xp is great. How it works - chop the tree like normal, once it's "dead" it turns white(when alive it has 'veins'), it then begins to sprout the 'veins', but then they die off and about 3 seconds later the tree spawns. Best thing to do is after each tree spawn, fletch the stakes(which is a pain in the butt - you can either use 1, 5, 10, or press the ^ button to add more. Maybe making the script to count how many are in inventory and make it do all, or -1 as kind of antibot feature. If you can't access the area for pics, contact me and I'll send you pics of area

Ikr, we don't get paid that well in my country here. I might just make a AIO orb charger if I would be making one, that way I can choose the highest profit ones.

Well, I don't play the game much, don't even have a defender myself. Might look out on how to get one and look into your idea. Thanks for suggesting ;)

-activates "quick prayer" drinks a dose of "prayer renewal" upon turning on quick prayers
-every 4mins 30seconsw it drinks another dose(perhaps add option of using pots/flasks)

I would use this for killing vyrewatch with pray melee on the whole time :x

No point doing that. It wouldn't work if you were to legit and botting at the same time. Because you would need to disable smart, and by disabling smart, script won't work.

Not really… I have mixed up legiting with botting to lessen the strain on my hand before, ie. I'm playing great orb project, I have a script that clicks whenever it sees the uptext of an orb of my color. You just need to disable SMART altogether and put the crosshair on the client(though I use SMART as the client), and make a loop that checks through whatever you want.

Actually you wouldnt legit it because the vyrewatch area is actually a 100% aggression zone, so by making the script move the mouse randomly so it wouldn't log out. It could be used at bandits too, really anywhere that uses prayer and has a 100% aggression zone

I would like something that would train Range :O A script that would fight a monster with throwing knifes for example :)

If that's the case, then it could be done though. And it would take less than an hour to do this, that includes testing.

Could have read the first post before posting this.

we need to find a method that will make about 250k-500k an hour standing at SW…i know they exist…and with easily achievable requirements(like 3-5 hours time)i just dont know what they are. I could help you with donations if you could find a way to make that happen. If you come up with any ideas feel free to pm me and we will discuss it =]

You made a thread to that and I believe you got an answer for that.

But in my thread, I'm asking for script ideas/methods so I can make the script. You should at least tell me a method instead of asking for the method and the script at the same time :p

combat beta is not definate, only some ppl are testing the beta aswell so the rest of us could do with waterfiends bot? :P

also great orb project would be a good bot if u cud get it to work
