Ok, I am going to work on a bilge bot to get my feet wet in PP scripting through Simba.
Basically, in the Bilge puzzle you are trying to make lines of 3 at a minimum to score. Bilge scoring comes from your efficiency to clear pieces. A delay of about ten seconds is acceptable when searching for a new move. A good balance of strategy and speed is best for a bilger. Combos of lines of 3x3 and greater create the best chance for higher scores.
If you don't know, here is what the bilge board looks like to start.

I am trying to figure out the best way to go about detecting the board as a whole to decide which move would be best for the bot. If I knew how to detect the whole board, that would give me a good start I think, and I could play with some algorithms to develop a decent working Bilge Bot.
(There are GREAT bots out there for bilge, and I own one. I just want to develop my own to say I did, and to kind of learn for tougher bots in the PP world.)
