The big image represents the big problem that should be clean out. Your wishing the nuke as you and me and others know, simba will survive.

but at the end of the day optimus cannot stop the bots. just look at nuke, sure it took down injection for a long time but it came back even though they said they were complete destorying the bot side of it.

You really know abothis man. I want a bot nuke even if it's temporary since I got simba and can bot some resources but with me selling at full price.. I just want a bot nuke to get some people outof the way, that's why I'm suicide booting right now since in the next two months this nuke will hit runescape..

i hate posts like these… i know you're training slayer legit and stuff… but you're on a botting site. I don't really like botters that complain about other bots, despite the other bots being injection (or other) bots rather than color bots.

thanks for calling me an idiot. i did read your post. so what if you bot for skills, and other people bot for gold? It's their problem that their botting for a stupid reason, when they can just get a job and make 10x the money they make from botting gold.

Good job, cause only Chinese gold farmers run 15+ accounts..as for people like Shay(Sin) and me: we only bot on our one and only accounts. I agree with Shay, it's all about skills and not gold since you can lose your gold but not your skills.

For black demon tasks, go to foreign worlds to do, never any bots there. I had to do it when I was training. Also.. Why u no bring overloads/extrs????

Slayer is getting almost impossible, because of the bots. Also in seer's village at the magic trees are alot of bots :P

Black demons bots are probably the most annoying, up there with green dragons >.<

Btw, do black demons in the resource dungeone in the chaos tunnels, its multi and even though you cant use a cannon, you can use a steel titan if you have one, there are eight and no-one is ever there + there agro!

Optimus isn't a nuke in itself, it's a platform that allows them to roll out updates and changes to the system much easier and faster. It's already been launched, but the "nuke" portion hasn't been.

I believe they're going to roll out the nuke in stages. First stage, take out Injection/Reflection clients. Second stage, try to stop us.

It sounds like they have decided that they can't stop bots completely so if they make updating / changing things as easy possible within the client then there will be no hope that injection/reflection can update in time. I don't know why they don't just have frequent changing IDs for everything, say every week.

I think Optimus will make it easier to change ID'S, or maybe spawn invisible NPC'S just like the myths of years ago, which will affect Injection Bots. What if a invisible Leo The Gravedigger would spawn next to you, we couldnt see it with the bare eye, but the client would read its ID. Which makes the bot itself go into the random solving mode, what might break the bot, or go clicking on it like some insane-man what would be a new way of detecting. Same what if your botting Hill Giants with Rsbot and they spawn a invisible hill giants next to you the client would read it once again and might start clicking it. They could recognize your a bot.


All together… Color isnt affected by that because it doesnt read the client!

They can stop them, and they can stop us just as easy. I believe this platform will make a huge blow to the Injection/reflection clients. As in, never coming back.

I agree, that would surely stop the other clients from ever working again.

I believe Optimus is aimed at killing the bots, and making game updates not go so awry every time. The possibilities that they can do with this platform is vast!

Prices are fucked because Jagex doesn't understand how to run an economy, not because "oohhhh noes too many bots!!@@@" (supply and demand) Evidence: Gravestones, making every skill easier to train, lack of any interest in balancing prices, etc. Bots are just a supply of goods, not the supply of goods.

I can point you to other MMOs with bot problems where the economy is just fine.

Just "legit" in a foreign world…

actually thats incorrect, because if you get bused botting you lose skills too… I was botting combat and killing chickens for both profit and gold. Not only did i lose my gold but every single combat skill and non-combt skill i had over 50 was reduced by 8 levels..
so rethink that statement there for a second

Yes it does.. it's a rollback. They take ALL your skills and split them XP-wise in half.

A 99 becomes 92 since 92 is half way to 99.

And for you guys saying optimus cannot kill colour. I wouldn't say that if I were you. There are games that block their canvas and their buffer's data. There is self-modifying clients. If Safemode was removed shit gets harder; all of SRL would be screwed for at least a week or two. They can block the DC to their main canvas from showing so that when you select the client, it only grabs the handle of the outer portion. This of course is for windows since Windows is the only platform I know of that uses a DC but maybe other platforms too can have something like this.

Avast Antivirus does this already. Simba works the same way as Spy++ and has to select a target then use:
GetWindowFromPoint(X, Y); where X and Y is the position of the mouse over the target.

Now try selecting AvastAntivirus as a client, Simba gets totally pwned by that. It does not detect any colors, says no client selected, etc.. It's a measure for anti-cracking. One way around it is to select the desktop instead but that's so much more inaccurate. Smart should still work but I'm sure they can definitely break it if they tried.

Yeah thats the bad things, but they do bring their benefits!

E.g. they make dragon bone and hide prices dirtily cheap, which makes training prayer cheaper and crafting cheaper. Aviansie bots make addy bars cheaper, which makes smithing cheaper.

However, I can see why people find them annoying and I am no way agreeing with them!

Optimus was merely setting the groundwork for the next set of bot nukes.

Just hit em with the og bot kill, and tele other all of them. I don't think their bots have any sort of failsafe for that.

As Hazzah said, it is the basic platform to be able to get rid of bots step by step. I think if RiD and Simba get affected, legit players will suffer the same. I can't imagine how to stop color bots.. Even after making everything dynamical and animated, we would find a way to read stuff from screen.

Remove uptext and replace with hover-over text?

What do you mean by hover-over text?

Edit: Removing Up-text would just make things more complicated, but not impossible.

When you play in HD, there's a Mouse Over Text option. It's rather cool, but only works in HD, as I was going to write some functions to identify that text in Safe Mode but it doesn't appear.

Yeah it seems like that would be the case. Move the mouse to the target destination, search in a small, surrounding area for the beginning of a 'Text box'. SplitTPA to get the bounds of the box and then search within that box for your text.

Yeah that's probably it. All we have to do is move the mouse to the target destination, search in a small, compact area around the GMP for a beggining of the text box/chooseoption thing.
Then just use SplitTPA and GetTPABounds to get the box size and search within the box for the text.

If they would show the Mouse Over Text in Safe Mode, it would be a great alternative to UpText.

I used to bot on like 100 accounts for absolutely no reason and just gave my stuff out free. (usually testing scripts, I guess that's a reason)

Something I dislike about the HD is when you stretch the game across 3 or 4 monitors you start to be able to see past the minimap, I think they should put a limit (if they already haven't)
