So.. while I were babysitting my own basic RuneSpan script, I saw some guy which didnt respond and seemed very much like an injection bot. I googled some stuff and this came up:

The first thing which took my eye:

I decided to bot Runecrafting from level 80-99 with Runespan. I will be using Simba and RSBot, and botting for around 16+ hours a day.

Since when do Powerbot members use Simba? :biggrin:

Lots of people use many/multiple bots they find best scripts for their task for whatever bot has it and then use it? What's so odd about that yo?

Ye, for example i got around 350 levels from using Simba just on my main, around 200 on my zerker and used pbot just to get some agility/thieving levels, I rather use Simba becuase it works 24/7 for me and scripts/scripters/community in general is really nice compared with the community at other botting sites.

I use Simba, RID, RSBot, and Rarebot. I primarily use Simba nowadays, but for the few things that I'm unable to script (I don't bother with public scripts outside of Zmons Runespan), I look elsewhere. I imagine that's the case with many users.

I think simba is the best but I go to powerbot when they have a script not available here (troll invasion or soulwars)

idk not a big deal imo, been @ pb, then rsbuddy & now here, not going back anymore..

Probably most of us have been experimenting with other bots.. Don't really get what the fuzz is all about.

I'm not going back to pb thou .. they are more offline then online lately..
& when they are online everythng is just so damn crowded :p

Why are people so against powerbot? Remember that it is a learning community like us, yeah they don't mind leeches as much as we do, but they encourage people to script and teach them to. It was also an open source client until that other client completely ripped them off

SudoSpan from Rsbot is THE best runespan script, any1 who have tried it will agree. But I did kinda the same, botting what I can with color and the things I cant (or is much faster) with injection :)

zmons RuneSpan one is the best I have used… Not sure how you can improve one something I haven't seen fail yet.

Its maybe true but it can be quicker and injection know if a good node spawned so they got the edge

is powerbot legit? i mean can you get hacked from them?

Powerbot itself is fine. But check the scripts as always. The hacking "massacre" happened when the site was breached. Not powerbots bots fault

Injection lrc are alittle more efficient imo but the job ggzz did with the color lrc was amazing :)

I used to use PB. Got banned. Then I switched to RSBuddy and then quit for a while… When bots were back, I started using EpicBot, but that wasn't as good as it should be. I have heard a lot of Simba, and I used SCAR miner script to get my mining like from 47 o 62 in the old days. And I thought Simba still uses the mouse, so I didn't want to use it. When I found out there is SMART implemented into Simba, I gave it a go. And you know what? I don't think I have seen a better bot than Simba. Forums are nice, everyone is pretty smart and polite, unlike PB members who go around and tell everybody "fu*k u newf*g" and stuff.. I like Simba. Thank you, guys. :)

I'm one of the oldest villavu members around and I use powerbot? I've gotten 99+ dungeoneering and 2 other 99's with PB. But I've also botted 9 other 99's with SCAR and Simba. What Shay said sums it up perfectly.

The situation has changed and even I do sometimes use Powerbot aswell.

If that is so you have 3 accounts here: VillaUser, kabouterplop, and kabouter plop. That is 2 more that you are allowed to have iirc.

SRL is home this is were i was born, but I use all sites and participate in all sites activities.

Meh I already handle the gravedig but I feel as though the Members of this forum can better educate him on why they decide to stay. :)

I guess it would be better to mix bots up even if they are for the same thing. Just for a bit of variety.

Many people use many different clients to fit their needs. It's no big deal. Personally, I've only used SCAR and Simba.

I use Powerbot sometimes for scripts that can't be made / work less good on Simba. I barely bot nowadays as I no longer play RuneScape. I'm still online pretty often to make scripts but other than that it has just lost my interest :P
