Was PMing back and forth with Remco1337 accidentally left my username and password in his script that I sent back to him and then next minute I can't log into my account, finally get on and I've been wiped clean.

Can't 100% confirm it was him but I can with 99% certainty. Wasn't sure who to PM about this but I also got a screen shot of the IP address

Yeah, bit rough given that I was just trying to help him out. But y'know, my own fault for leaving my password in the private message.

Just how bad people can get nowadays. Trying to give a donation to a poor guy, the next thing you know, he stole your wallet. Sorry for your loss.

Not alot really, maybe 3m in GP, fury and a bandos chest plate. Not overly of any concern as I only really play RS these days to learn how to script for Simba :P

Therefore the money/items are purely to fund my learning on here and not really of any consequence to me in the big scheme of things.

He PMed me back after the event saying it wasn't him, but then when I mentioned that I didn't need his 200k because they didn't take my 17m worth of alchable items I tried to login again and my account was locked ;)

I'm sorry for your lost but you will get back on your feet. I would lend you a hand but I need my hands. On a more serious answer: I can't since I just helped a friend out that got pled..lol.

As stated they didn't really get a hold of much, I still have ~15M which will be ample for my scripting intentions at the moment. I don't expect any hand-outs from the forum or any of it's users. However the offers are greatly appreciated. It was my own mistake and sometimes you just have to accept that not everyone is as honest as you'd like.
