SRL Archive - RuneScape News and General

So i tried logging on today and yesterday on rs after around 10months of quitting rs and all i get is a black screen :(
When i click play now / play for free (or what ever it says), the screen where the game / login screen should be is black.
My internet service provider is virgin media (the same internet i used to play rs for for the past 4 years).

I have tried this on 2 laptops (acer and dell) that are NOT old and both have the same problem.
I also have the latest java on both of them and tried rs on firefox and chrome.
I have already searched all over the internet, sythe, google, villavu, and EVEN runescape form that tells you to install re in stall java and restart your computer, but no look, so i turn to you guys to help me out PLEASE !!!!

Sounds like you might have had an IP ban, I doubt it would be, but you never know :/

nope, i am not ip banned since there is 1 way i can get rs to work (really long method) but simba wont work unless firefox in game runescape browser works as it goes through this browser by default and yes i have tried chrome.

the way i get it to work is by clicking create account, already have an account, then it works, but its reeeeeeaaaly laggy and simba still wont work, and the black screen doesnt go away when you click play now.

Try deleting your RS cache file and updating RS again
