Ok, so some of this may be clear and may not be, but what this is is a guide on how to have better luck/ higher chances on S.O.F. for rare and super-rare prizes.

First off, I'm going to start with the do not*.

DO NOT DOUBLECLICK/TRIPLECLICK THE S.O.F. BUTTON (Unless all thats available is trash to you) IT IS ALMOST 100% GUARENTEED YOU WILL GET JUNK. I WILL EXPLAIN WHY LATER.

DO NOT TRY STACKING UP "DAILY" SPINS. IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. THE ONLY STACKABLE SPINS ARE "EARNED" AND "BOUGHT" YOU MUST USE YOUR DAILY SPINS THE DAY YOU GET THEM FOR MOST SPINS POSSIBLE.

—————————————————–

WHAT TO DO:

1. Let's say there is a rare item you want on S.O.F. but like usual you believe you're not going to get it. What you do, is you wait for it to almost stop, but here is where it's a gamble : either it looks like it's going to make it or not, and if your not careful, you might make it jump off of the "rare" you would have gotten.

2. If it looks like it's going to almost make it but you believe it's not going to make it to the item, click the S.O.F. button once (After you have already launched the goblin). What this will do is move the selected slot forward one. BUT! YOU MUST CLICK OR NOT CLICK BEFORE IT OFFICIALLY LANDS AND SAYS YOUR PRIZE! OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK.

3. Try not to press the button when it looks like it is close to landing on your prize OCCASIONALLY. IT IS A LUCK/GAMBLE FOR A REASON. AND AS A RESULT, YOU MIGHT MAKE IT SKIP OFF THE "RARE" YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IF YOU HAD NOT CLICKED THE BUTTON.
These are my tips, I hope it helps, good luck and ya.

I have my doubts on this, but hey, It's worth a try!

The rewards you get from SoF are predetermined when you open the wheel.

^^
Not trying to put down what your saying, it may have some sort of legitimacy to it, by my impression is that it is pre-determined, like the guy on the forum said. I don't think clicking it will change it, Jagex have designed so you think that it will land on a rare every-time. It's a marketing ploy so people will buy spins, and it is commonly used in carnival games.

sof is just their way to mae more money.
I persona;lly don't think it doing them quite well (which is why they jacked up the chances) and also its still there.

So its not making jagex any money and its not making the players any happy.

That is all a bunch of nonsense. Peter is likely right, the reward that you get is predetermined before you start the spin.

If it makes you feel better to try and change the results, then go for it ;)

Anyone tried this?

Once you've pressed the spin button the server randomly selects the prize for you and the wheel will stop at the position determined by the server. Even if you should somehow manage to stop the wheel at a position it is not ment to stop at you will still receive the prize that was determined by the server once you pressed the spin button.

Why? Because that's how stuff works.

It is predetermined… but if it were true - jagex will patch it :P

jagex probably didnt even make chances to get rares and super rares better, they just made the shitty prizes better

Sounds similar to pushing buttons in pokemon to give yourself a better chance of catching it.

I don't believe this is true, the minute you press the red button it determines the prize that will be rewarded like everyone is saying. Also, I always press the squeal button 2 times to go through my spins fast. Last time i did it, I got the ceremonial hat, and boots Back to Back. Trust me its all about "luck". But hey, ill give it a shot none the less. I don't see why people are complaining about the the wheel, Sure they're trying to make a little more cash. But its still something free you can do every day for a little reward, Why not make the best of it?
