hey,

ive decided to go for 99 range with the red chinchompa method, ive looked at guides on yt ect ect but most of them are out dated. I aint sure whats the best gear to take and how to fill my inv. im planning to train at ape atoll so i also need to know were to stand, atm my range lvl is 90 and it would be cool if someone told me how many chins i would need (sorry) i have no idea how to calc it or i would of done it myself. So to sum it up i need to know the following;

-Gear
-Inv
-Were to stand
-Number of chins (90-99)

thx:)

try http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Pay-to-play_Ranged_training#Special_Range_Weapon, rather exhaustive and up to date.
Full elite void+illuminated zamo book+fury+sw cape+glaiven boot+seer ring (i) is probably the best. U can calculate how much chin u need by estimating ur average hit/chin. (Take ~10-20 screenshots and add the total dmg done then divide by the no. of times u chinned; simple math ;)

Check out this video:

It has a lot of good information and shows you how to get to a good spot.

As for equipment, Void Ranged with a deflector and d'hide body is going to be the best. If you don't have Void, just substitute full d'hide.

Use a prayer cape: like soul wars cape or ardy 3/4 and if u can get void + deflector + acp, that would be maximum xp per hour.

Also take another extreme ranging potion, and for longer trips just use flasks, you can improve your gear using swift gloves and archers ring (i), other than that it's a pretty good setup.

i had my doubts about void, when i compared its stats to armadyl they werent as good but apparently it has some kind of invisible bonus like a slayer helm. so i tried out ur suggestion and it works much better :) im getting better xp/hr and hitting 800+ when before i was maxing low 700's. thx for the beasty hits;

2 extreme pots do it for me sometimes i have few doses left over, and [p]flasks cost alot more then (4) dose i dnt think its worth it plus i cant cope with uber long trips if i took flasks i would be there forever. as for swift gloves and archer ring (i) i seriously cba with the requirements (hate quests). thx for the tips though if i wasnt so lazy they would certainly help.
