Heya, basically I did just over half my skills on my main legit. The rest are botted :L and I am almost maxed. One of my friends said that his friend was checked to see if he was legit when he got the cape (i can't imagine this happening) but like, I see a lot of people maxing everyday and I can't help but think a lot of people bot nowadays xd, so what do you guys reckon? Will I be banned upon maxing?
No you get max cape automatically. But jagex might have a list of people that got max cape and they'll probably check them out see if they've been flagged..etc
I don't think so, I know a few max capers who have botted their capes and I'm confident they won't check me when I get mine in a few days.

I'm pretty sure that once you get max cape they won't really care as you are pretty much a trophy to behold in runescape. You will be a little show of the potential of any player and i think they would probably endorse SIMBA if it meant more players becoming members to max out. You'll be fine.
It is automatic, I am maxed.
Jagex seem to care more about bringing down the bot as a whole rather than individual players. I'm sure if you have been flagged and/or reported a couple of times then it's quite possible they will ban you/reset your account. But unless those things have happened I'd say chances are you will be fine.

There is no way for anyone other then actual people from Jagex to know if they check people upon maxing there capes so dont go by what your friend said and i honestly think they dont but like i said no one but Jagex knows if its true or not.

Of course not, there hundreds of bots with 200M xp in skills like hunter and they aren't banned. They would rather milk the max capers.

I highly doubt that they check the max capers. There are many of them now-days, I believe it's those that are high up in the charts that they check. I could be wrong however.

Anything here would just be speculation but if it was me I would just keep a closer eye on the high ranking players/comp capers/maxed players. Now I doubt that they would ban any of them if they did find out you had been botting.

If I ever get to be a MAX caper, I'm not going to bot on that account anymore since i'm ok with 13m xp for each skill. In fact I want dungeoneering to be only lvl 100.
