Hi, I'm going to make a script that picks up stuff from the ground, and I am wondering if there is a way to find items on the ground and pick it up? Help would be appreciated! :D

Don't worry this is actually a good question.

Use color or tpa you can find a lot of stuff on the group. (DO NOT USE DTM or BITMAP).

TPA isn't difficult but you need to play with the size and boundary to find the proper item. It can also be tricky if the item has similar color.

It would be good if you can post a screen shot of the item on the floor of the location you wish to find. Then we can probably give you more help.

Also use the new MMtoMS if needed.

DTMs can actually work very well if you get one spot on.

I like the dtm way myself I use FindDTMs to return all found then i sort them using distance to get the closest I use MMtoMS. In my own function which finds the closest item converts to main screen then draws a box around that point and checks for a color within that box pretty accurate will post it later when home

I personally like to find the Red Dots on the minimap. Then convert the distance between my character and the item on the minimap to MainScreen distance. Then use RemoveDistTPointarray twice to remove things on the MainScreen that are too close and too far away from the item that was on the minimap. Then search for the color of the item within that circle shape etc.
