Get rid of the link to rs. DO NOT POST LINKS TO RS ON THE FORUMS.

Otherwise you could have your IP linked to this site, which Jagex could use to ban or target you for botting checks. (Whenever you click on a link on a webpage, the target webpage gets information about which site you clicked from - in this case, villavu.com)

Why do you say this?

YoHoJo, I edited my comment to explain.

My understanding that Runescape.com will know which site the "clicker" came from. In this case, villavu.com - which is associated with RS botting. This means unless you are using a different IP for browsing/playing, Jagex will associate your IP with botting.

Please correct me if I am incorrect.

Being a bit too paranoid I think :p.

Tons of people navigate from here to rs via links etc all the time and have for many years and I don't think any bans have resulted from it, ever!

In that case, I will just choose not to click on them. I had just heard documented cases of bans on the RiD forums, and figured I'd rather let someone know then have an unsuspecting person get banned for clicking a silly link.

:duh: :duh: :duh:

That's just because RiD comes up with any bullshit excuse when someone gets banned, so that they can say no one's been banned using their bots, lol

edit: I mean , just think about how ridiculous this sounds lol. "hey I got banned when I used your bot!"

"uh… uh… no, it wasn't from using our bot…. Jagex must have noticed you linked to their site from this botting site, and that if your on this site YOU MUST be using bots, and so they banned you! yeah… that's exactly what happened…"

It's obvious isn't it :p? It doesn't even make sense because tons of legiters patrol botting sites to try to find where they can bot bust. There are many known youtubers who frequent bot sites to try to stop bots. so why would jagex ban people coming from the bot site?

Shitty rewards really, except the royal ranged armour which has similar stats to arma (which will crash to <5m).

<offtopic> I guess jagex dont really track these links. They rarely use IP as a clue to ban botters. Most of the bans result from player reports, as they only ban bots to satisfy legit players (they wont be happy to see a bot remain in a spot for months even though they reported)
