Recently i have noticed strange jumps in simbas CPU usage, it is usually at around 9-11% usage, but then it jumps to around 30% and stays there?

is anyone else having similar problems? thanks

yes i am as well i wish i could help but i havent been able to figure it out, i have just accomidated for it.

Too much DTM or bitmap at one time? :p
And didn't free them properly? That's what I can think of.

It also depends on what the script is doing. If its trying to find a colour it will use more CPU cycles, if the script is doing "wait" then it will use less cycles.

Run script without SMART. Or use the newer Simba that runs SMART in its own process (not sure if that's competed/released yet though). Most of the use is probably being done by RS.

Its the same script ive been using for the past few weeks, just seems like this performance issue has only occured now… yea :S
