98 is safer than Xp..

it may be safer but thats because xp has 329458260289 programmers and they screw everything up

Definatly not true, just edit xp on the side until you have it as you like it. Use trend-micro + spy sweeper.

So then you've tested it on xp and 98?

Actually, yes 98 (2000 included) is more stable for games. All of my new games work on my 98 computer. When I play them on my fast xp, they lock up. Part of the reason is that 98 naturally runs less processes.

for somereason my windows 98 comp which has 3 gp hard drive and 256 ram runs runescape less laggy and i can dual logging with less lagginess.. when i do that with my xp home it normaly lags bad or freezes up..

Its true. People dont make much spyware + Adware + viruses for 98

hm, i got that on 1 of my accounts, the script stopped working, so i logged in on it to see what happened, i was there, and was gonna do it later. 2 weeks later, i went to go on, and blah blah, account is disabled blah.

i got so much adwares and spywares on my xp comp.. it alwways freezes up..

98 is incompatable with a lot of programs, just as xp will become when that Windows vista thing comes out. :(
