Hello Users,
I originally created this account to download public scripts but recently,
A strange event has occured and I feel that I should post my findings/feedback here.

Earlier this evening, I was chilling in front of T.V. doing not much while my level 12 bot was Woodcutting Willows. As usual, I got bored and decided to check on the bot's progress. However, as soon as I saw the PC I knew something was up.

Indeed, there was the bot cutting away, but in the background, my internet explorer had opened. As it appeared, I could notice about 6 - 10 tabs open at once. And on the most recent tab was my bot's account settings open and
the "Set Recovery Questions" tab was open. Which can only make me wonder about the other tabs. I, at that instant closed iexplore.exe.

I am VERY disappointed that such a good and useful program could attempt such things, when I first downloaded Simba, I was extatic. Now I'm going to post this on every forum about Simba I can find. I DO NOT want other user's accounts stolen and I am VERY relieved that I did not bot on my main at all.

Thanks,
DiN

You do know that it is a bug in the login.simba … What you should do it post it as a bug report

It's to do with the new May screen actually. I'm not exactly sure how the login system works, but its disrupted lately because of this. Why this is not fixed/update is beyond me, but you're making false accusations without even asking if this is a known problem.

LOL! Me too! I remember the good old days when I thought martians were going to invade earth and probe me… don't be such a hypocondriac. This happens to me all the time, and not once have I lost an account in Simba. As we speak I'm running a script- which will inevitably steal my account :( and I too, will make a post about it saying how malicious and lethal these 12KB files of doom are. Look at the tags you put on this: accoutns, simba, stealing, unsafe.

I can see a motivational poster
Leeching. Your doing it wrong.

And above all, why do you have internet explorer?
And another thing, MSI scripts are probably a white furry rabbit to your worries about malicious scripts. MSI is made by the devs and nobody else touches it. The devs have even YOUR best interest in mind when they are creating the MSI scripts. So if MSI stole your account or even set recoveries I resign my SRL membership and am heading to Alaska.
Last one- I'm serious.. if they did set recoveries, why would they open 6-10 tabs for it, they aren't idiots, they only need 1 tab… and if they had the intent to set them, the code would be massive and somebody (who has more than 1 post) would have caught it almost immediately. You should say "Thanks SRL devs for securing my account by setting recoveries so that one day when powerbot or rsbuddy steals my account, I can easily get it back, Sincerely -DiN"

add this to your MSI code to make it not open the recoveries (you may get a compiling error)

until (satisfied);
end;

It's a shame you nearly got hacked.

Good job you warned the hundreds of users who use MSI daily to bot their accounts without any issue in terms of account security.

mine did this exact same thing exept it was trying to sign up, it clicked on the sign up button on the squeal and it bugged and continued to do so, i trust msi so much that i would let the creator use my account to further develop his services. Trust me there was no pass at your level 12 acct. right now i think most of the wc scripts with msi are not working atm, not 100% sure though.

i also call bullshit on it being on the recovery questions.
pics or it didn't happen.
